Is there any particular server that DLP is going to frequent? I assume that unlike Starcraft II we aren't actually going to be playing much as a group, but I thought I'd ask.

I've had the launcher downloaded since Monday, but I can't log in on the launcher to update/download the game. It's apparently a fairly common error, and the problem is server-side with Bioware, so there's nothing I can do about it.

Where do I see if I got Saturday or Friday?

I'm guessing I got Saturday as I can't connect, but I'd like to see it for sure.

The nice box in the middle of the screen saying that the server is full, your queue position is under the line. If you'r stuck logging into the launcher I have no idea.

This security question crap is pissing me off. There's no way to get around it if for some reason you've forgotten the answer or typed it in wrong or whatever besides notifying customer support, and the phone support line is down. Stuck out until they do whatever to fix it. Sigh.

I called customer support earlier today, waited 30 seconds tops. Calling at this time though, with literally thousands not getting into beta. I understand why it's bogged down.

Just finished leveling my Sith Inquisitor to 10. Storyline was fun and kept me entertained, and for the most part they managed to blend the kill quests in quite well with the story chain.

The massive GCD in this game is going to take some getting used to. This energy system doesn't play like the rogues I've rolled before. I need to work on the new rotations and timing.

So far, not a bad start, despite my poor old laptop only being able to run it on lowest settings at about 10 fps. Can't wait for Christmas to roll around and my new machine.

For those of you playing and thinking 'too easy', like myself, everything I've read from experienced testers says the difficulty DOES ramp up. But that it does so gradually.

By level 30 it's a real challenge, or so I hear.

Just leveled my SI to 11. Going to hit up my Trooper and rape face for awhile. I'm on The Leviathan, for anyone whose interested. 'Kumaatz' is the Trooper.

Don't be intimidated by the wait time. It took me about 15 minutes to get onto the server, despite it saying anything from 1.5 hours to 9 hours of wait time.

Edit: Or not, apparently I've got the damned 'older characters not working' bug. Argh.

Taking a short break while I eat dinner.

I've got my smuggler up to 16, and its actually a lot more fun then i was expecting.

Also the servers are doing a MUCH better job then I was expecting, I got in immediately at 11:00 am est and and only had two major lag spikes spread out thru the first world.

It mysteriously started working this evening, with no explanation. I'm downloading tonight, but I'm only getting 50 kbps and I have to start driving tomorrow morning so I can get back home by tomorrow night. Looks like I won't be playing until Sunday, if at all.

For a moment, I thought I was playing World of Warcraft. I expected a bit more than copy pasta from WoW...

WoW was not a bad game, in the beginning. In fact, pretty much every MMO now in existence steals from it hand over fist. WoW only really got bad after they started to sell out and dumb the game down for more subscribers.

My first real issue just blew up in my face. My level 3 Operative got stuck - like can't do shit stuck - after I talked to my boss on a hololink, turning in a quest.

Put in a ticket, but I'm not sure what their reaction time is. Suffice it to say, I tried everything to fix it, but even relogging didn't help. Went on to roll a Sith Warrior, and I've to got to say I think he's got a hell of a lot more damage utility than the SI. Some of that is attributed to my familiarity with the starting zone now (buy a vendor weapon at level 5 - do it!), but mostly this class is just more syncopetic with me.

    Yeah.
