It doesn't. Unless you're the warlock, and for some reason decided to give that up. Presumably because you have the players list with everyones role on it and are going to successfully soul steal for the duration of the game : l.

Isn't the warlock able to do that as well? it's public, but it gives them invincibility for a day.

It benefits both factions that aren't us.

 

I don't understand. Why would the warlock bother? Witches will make the kill regardless of whether he does it or not.

And even if he does, it doesn't change anything. This makes us lose two of the most important roles. Who makes us lose them is irrelevant now.

Because both Sesc and Kai have made claim on the judge's role. One of them is definately scum.

But if you were to compare say me and Ashaya, we both could be pro-town.

When will people stop using stupid reasons just for the sake of it?

Should've known. I did not know you were playing or I would have totally called this.

 

Look at the priority list, Mayor action happens before Nightkills, so I can still use the mayor power before the witches can nk me (the only one that is basically unusable for me is the check, which is arguably the weakest power).

Anyway, I think it's super super important that the Mayor power isn't able to be used by scum, since the reason town lost last game was that Jon killed someone with mayor powers, then at the end game town was one-person short of securing a win. Of course, other mistakes were made too, but scum using the mayor power gives us less room to make mistakes in and most mistakes town can make do have some small positive effect (mislynches giving detective info, enabling Vigilante kills, etcetc) whereas a scum mayor being able to use the mayor power has absolutely no redeeming quality at all.

I really do think that nobody being able to use mayor (mayor given to the fake!judge out of me and sesc) is preferable to scum being able to use the mayor power. Which is why I still think that the best possible Mayor votes are either for myself or Sesc, since if it is given to the fake!Judge, the Mayor powers will go unused, and if it is given to the real!Judge, we can trust that the power will be used in town's best interest.

 

Hmm, fair enough. Yeah, dead scum Mayor seems preferable to live possible-scum mayor. Scum in exchange for mayor is a good deal, I suppose.

Both me and Sesc are correct choices here, just one of us is more correct.

 

Even if the real judge is warlock faction, the other person (i.e. the fake judge) is still likely scum - in this scenario, probably a witch. So even if the real judge is also scum, and we've given the Mayor to a scum role, at least we get one of the witches.

Also, shouldn't the Daredevil and Martyr be protecting the judge tonight?

Also I'm counting Moridin's lynch vote as a Mayor vote since that's pretty clearly what it is, and this is just an unofficial tally, so it isn't super important.

 

Since Sesc isn't getting any votes, I'm going to Rescing Vote and vote for either Castiel or Ashaya.
Castiel has more votes, but Ashaya red truthed, so I trust her.

Why does anyone trust Kai? Even if he's not scum (which I am fairly certain that he is) he wont live for long with the way he's trying to lead everyone.
