...I'm glad the description sas fail or I'd be very disappointed in your "pride".

    That being said.....I hate you.

I still haven't gotten any new games, this is the top of my list.

Not to be a dick but your clip certainly didn't particularly make you look like a boss.

Fuck. It happened again. It's the Steve Jobs thread all over again.

Anyways, I played only a bit of it with my friend and I have to say I see no difference between this and MW1. Maybe single player is better but it seems to be pretty much the same game, which makes me reconsider buying it. My money may just go to Halo Anniversary now.

    EDIT: Double fail.

Blew the last of my money on Skyrim, so I probably won't be getting this for a few weeks. What I've seen of it looks pretty much the same as Modern Warfare 2, though.

Almost have an X-box. Just need to save up 50 more bucks. I'll probably have it by the end of the week.

The game looks like MW2 except without all the rage inducing fuck ups they put in there. No outrageously powerful noob-tubes, perks are nicely balanced, no one man army (or variants thereof), and Juggernaut is pretty cool now.

And for the love of all that is holy, they removed Commando. :awesome

I look very much forward to playing.

I played the campaign (traditional dramatic incoherent CoD bullshit), but probably won't bother ever playing the multiplayer as I don't console any more and Vita Nova & Co has pretty much ignored the last three Call of Duty releases.

The crash screen on PC calls it MW2, so yes. No difference

This happened to me too. It was funny... the first three times.
Don't get me started on the insanely low FoV, which nearly made me sick after playing the single player campaign for more than half an hour.

If you want to get this game, get it on a console, as Activision clearly doesn't give two shits about the PC version, which can be seen in the insane amount of bugs in it. It's a good thing I got a refund for this crap.

How did you manage to get a refund? Typically in my experience they will almost always tell you as you buy the game that it is not refundable.

The reason this game has had no thread time is the simple fact that it's the same as the last two Infinity Ward releases. Treyarch did no better between World at War and Black Ops.

I feel like Call of Duty should have ended with Modern Warfare, but the hype was so big that Modern Warfare 2 was destined for success. All they had to do was fix the bugs they found in the previous game and add more gimmicks. Voila.

They're doing the same, exact thing again. And they're making bank on a tweaked version of the same engines. Again.

The Campaign was as expected: brutally fast-paced, far too short, and beautiful. It's why I always think about buying the game, just to borrow it from a friend for a day to beat it on Veteran.

Xbox 360. MDK Technician. I'm still feeling it out, I'm really liking the specialist perk option though.

I just found out that specialist also unlocks every proficiency for your weapon (except damage for shotguns, and attachments for everything else). So if you're using a specialist shotty class, use the damage proficiency. If you're using anything else, use attachments if you think it's worth it.

I bought at a local shop in my town. I just returned the game saying it was shit. I got a full refund, plus another game of my choice for only 50% of the price. Naturally, I picked BF3 Limited Edition.
People who work there are awesome like that. :awesome

Been a while since I played any shooter other than Battlefield 3, so it's definitely been difficult to get used to the fast paced action again. It's a lot of fun, although I still haven't found a map that truly like.

Also, what the hell is up with not making all the modes available for multiplayer? Under Private Match you can find all sorts of fun game modes (like Black Ops' Wager Matches), but you can only play them with your friends. That really bummed me out. :(

Anyway, what's your average/generally highest score?

I get an average of fifteen kills per match, but more often than not I hit something 20-27 kills/4-9 deaths by the end of the match. I predict my ass getting whipped when I start prestige, though.

Depends on the game mode. Objective based modes my KDR's like 1.1 because I'm always rushing the point or suiciding to prevent the enemy getting a cap. TDM it's closer to 1.5 and I probably average 20~ kills. FFA I'm at 1.9 something and usually win. Really loving FFA now, the maps suit my play style for it a lot better- lots of run and gunning and tight corners. My main class setup so far.

EDIT: one thing I like; they seem to have made the hit-boxes for semtex a bit bigger, been getting a lot more stick than usual.
