I restarted my character as a Khajiit Assassin/Archer. I'm around L5... Should I wait a bit before I join the Dark Brotherhood?

True. I just read that the items guilds in general give at later levels scale better.

Meh... I feel like a boss. Got a Faulkner Bow and Axe and took out some Hired Thugs. ^____^

Belethor... I have my eye on you. >__>

Could not join Dark Brotherhood last playthrough because of a bug. Though playing a lizard mage adventurer was fun, its time for the incredibly violent Orsimer Shurag gro-Malog.

Descended from Agronak gro-Malog, the Gray Prince, her goal in coming to Skyrim is to seek the fame her family knows it should possess. And to murder a lot of dudes. Going heavy armour, restoration, sneak, archery and one handed. My goals in game are to basically do the things I didn't last game, so become thane of every town, support the stormcloaks and do the Dark Brotherhood. Might do companions as well.

Well, apparently Bethesda really screwed things with the latest patch. Resistances no longer apply, meaning vampires can be poisoned, fire resist potions/enchantments no longer work at all, your Nord is equally weak to ice as every other race, a flame atronach can be taken out by a fireball, etc.

I had some of the worst timing ever on finding out about this. Read about how this was happening on consoles due to the patch, and immediately went to Steam to stop it from auto downloading the patch only to see it just starting...

    Well fuck.

I suspect they'll fix it pretty quickly though.

I believe that the dark brotherhoods items don't scale as much as the other factions so you should be right there but I would still wait a while before doing it, as level 5 might be a bit low to complete some of the quests particularly when they go wrong.

This is the second time I've been really glad I'm forced to play in offline mode since the game doesn't release for about another week and a half here.

The other patch was the first.

Just lol at how these things turn out. :awesome

So I need you folks help with a problem I've been having on my Nord warrior, I went Dual Wield and it kicks ass but I ran into this glitch where if I try to dual attack the weapons creep a long at an inch per hour and I can hardly move unless I switch out of those weapons. After much trial and error I actually found out that it was caused by taking the second level of the Dual Flurry perk, if I just take rank one then it works fine. I would really like to be able to get the second rank though. Anyone have any ideas on how I could get around this?

Is there a way to distribute your talent points from anew? Because I did waste a few points here and there and would like to take them back. Do I need a mod or is there an ingame solution?

I can't imagine you could redistribute points, there'd be nothing to stop you poutting everything in speech, buying shit and then putting them back in combat.

You can use the console and the commands addperk / removeperk.

Like Jon said,addperk/removeperk is the only way to do that now.

Though once the Creation kit comes out,it'll only be matter of time till someone releases such a mod.

Somebody here posted a mod they made which redistributed points. It's a bit hacky - worked through the console, .bats and remembering exact perk names IIRC, but for the time being it should work for a full redistribution if you have many points and want to start from scratch.

For a few redistributions, addperk/removeperk should work best.

Sooo. In unrelated news, Bethesda doesn't appreciate you and anyone with Skyrim on PS3 is pretty much fucked.
