    So, I decided to give this another go just now while having a snack before bed. I decided to skip ahead to the start of Season 2 because I gathered that there was a bit more plot then.

    Starts off with three little ponies arguing/whatever and there's a statue of a thingy with all sorts of different body parts.

    My first thought is "Oh, hey, it's like in Harmony, like those jewel things from before, because in order for it to be alive/whatever all those different parts must be in harmony together or it'd fall apart/not work/whatever."

    Then it turns out to be pretty much the exact opposite of that not five seconds later. FML. /goes back to eating leftovers and watching

    Edit: The bunny rabbits with creepy-arsed long spider-like legs are... creepy as all hell, wtf?

    Edit2: Holy shit, it's Q! And it's the scene (kinda) from that Dresden/MLP crossover!

    Yeah, Dresden crossed over right at the start of Season 2. I tried to make Discord's appearance similar to canon, while putting my own unique spin on it.

    Newest Episode is 1080

    Nice episode, have to love the irony of Rainbow Dash's new pet, even though I saw that twist coming.

    Heh, I doubt even the ten year old girls this show was meant for didn't see that twist coming.

    That said, I enjoyed the hell out of this one. Easily one of my favorite episodes. I'm just a sucker for those songs and Rainbow Dash really got a chance to shine. This season is going very strong.

    "So the final, tie-breaking contest is going to beee... pause for dramatic effect ...a race against, ME, through Ghastly Gorge! THUM THUM THUUUUUUM!"

    Yeah, Season 2 is proving to be even better than Season 1 so far. Letting the other ponies do friendship reports has really let the the show spread its wings a bit more since they don't have to cram Twilight into a prominent role in every episode.

    Edit: Fluttershy and Rainbow's duet is now stuck in my head. Why must every MLP song be so catchy?

    There's a pony with brown coat/mane in the style of David Tennant, and an hour glass cutie mark. Popular consensus is he's the Doctor. Whether he's using a chameleon arch or not is up for debate.

    Check the episode where Applebloom tries to sell apples and she'll accost him with them, but he doesn't sound anything like Tennant so it's less awesome than it could be.

    God damn it. Now I want to write a Doctor Who/MLP fic. >_>

    Huh, well damn I can kind of see where they are coming from now... I think its been blown a little out of proportion but the idea of the tenth doctor somehow becoming a pony for a bit is kind of awesome. Random crazy tenth doctor thought process in MLP has way too many chances for good comedy.

    Hey, at this point we have Dresden files and Fallout cross-overs with MLP, why not Doctor Who?

    There are some that are readable, but nothing beyond that. Though I'd rather have another good DF/MLP than first good DW/MLP fic.

    Well, this was just one big shout out to every super-hero movie/cartoon made in the last 20 years. They even stuck in a slightly modified version of the Batman theme. Also, Spiderman will need to have some words with Dash about stealing one of his catchphrases.

    It's amazing how many obvious plot twists there have been in this show lately. And normally this would turn me off from a series but somehow it doesn't.

    Then again it is a cartoon about ponies made for little kids.

    True. For all that the show loves to include nods to its adult fanbase, it is still a kids show, which brings with it a different set of judging criteria. I watch the show expecting lighthearted fun, not epic plot twists.

    Also, Monty Python ponies.

    The Mare-Do-Well Knight.

    More Fluttershy as Dovahkiin. (Bonus points for Pinkie making a Harry Potter Reference)

    I like Art of the Dress more than this new song, but it isn't bad. Also liked Twilight's crazy dancing towards the end.

    Well, for all that I like the catchy zaniness of Pinkie's songs, I think Art of the Dress was the best song of the entire first season (though Winter Wrap Up was a close second), so the new song not beating it doesn't come as a surprise.

    Have to admit, the ponies managing to wreck yet another fancy party in even less time than it took them to cause all the chaos at the Gala was impressive. I think we can now safely say that aside from Rarity, you should keep the main cast far away from any party that isn't being run by Pinkie.

    Also, I am so having Pinkie whip out the Party Cannon for the fight against the Denarians in the next chapter in MLD.
