At first I could see the appeal of Ulfric, but once you learn he's a crazy racist he loses a lot of shine. Not to mention being a Thalmor agent (even if he's a fairly uncooperative one).

 

For the glory of the NINE!

 

While I hate the restrictions in worshipping Talos, I believe the empire needs to be strong and united in the face of the Aldmeri cunts.

Once they've been nicely raped we can go back to publicly worshipping Talos.

EDIT: Also, I thought I knew a bit about TES lore but I just don't understand the hate they have for Talos. Wtf?

 

From what I gather they hate Talos because they hate the idea of a man who became a god and not an elf.

I'm not sure if that's right though.

 

Fuck all three of them. I'm perfectly happy being united with no one.

 

I still haven't been to Windhelm. I don't know which side to choose and since I am in a self imposed exile from Skyrim for the next two week because of my exams(also because my mouse broke ), I'll not be choosing any side for now.

 

When I play as a Nord (which is most of the time) I always go for the Stormcloaks. I have several characters, though, and some are Imperials. Is it even possible to join the Aldmeri?

 

Due to my strong dislike for Ulfric, and the fact that I actually quite like Tullius, I went with the Empire. They really are acting in the best interests of Skyrim.

Also, haven't played an Altmer yet, is there any unique dialogue with the Thalmor?

 

There is, and it's also easier to infiltrate the Thalmor Embassy as one.

 

I joined up with the Stormcloaks initially, but now that I've seen what Ulfric's really like, I've just been ignoring the quest I have for them. I'm thinking of starting a new character, and going Imperial - while they did try to kill me, overall they are a touch less crazy. Plus, Elisif. :3

I went Stormcloak at first because I was still a hair bitter over the whole them trying to give me a Viking crew cut thing but once I saw that Ulfric and his pet roid monkey were racist idiotic lunatics, I just gave up on that, made a new character and went Imperial and I don't regret it for a moment. I haven't gotten to it yet but I cannot wait to set that asshole on fire.

 

I have a boner for the empire and anything to do with Legions so it's an easy choice.

Empire, bitches.

 

I originally planned on joining the Stormcloaks with my first character. Then I started exploring Windhelm.

I just love standing at Ulfric's side while he denounces the Dominion while behind my mask I'm a High Elf.

*character removes mask after killing Tullius*

I, for one, am perfectly content with siding with the Glorious One (AKA Vash) and roaming Skyrim, butchering every damned Elf fuck I see. And the occasional Nord cunt too.

One too many damned Lost Roman Legion stories for me to really want to do anything but butcher the Imperials, Fuck the Nord filth. Actually started a second character to play straight, and just use my first one to fuck around and see how much shit I can kill.

Protip: Don't fuck with the Giants straight after busting out of the execution shit. Is bad. Very bad. D:

 

The empire is the only option. Stormcloak armour is crappy as hell, their army would get butchered in any large scale battle. Add to that the fact that they don't have any mage forces and they get even more fucked. Greybeards don't count since they're basically Buddhists. And even if the elves do have more quality, they don't have near the quantity of troops the empire has in reserve in Hammerfell, Cyrodiil, High Rock and the other provinces.

Basically, if you want to side with the one who'll win, pick empire.
