I didn't get anything out of the preview clips.

Also, am I the only one who saw parallels between this episode and Ghost Story? If not in plot structure then at least the tropes. :sherlock:

Okay so has anyone else noticed that they're killing off characters in the same order as they did in the season 5 finale?? I mean, first Cas, then Bobby, and if you looked really closely in the preview clips, you get a glimpse of Sam lying in some random alley looking quite dead-like ('course he could've been unconscious, but based on the general flow of this season…)

So there is something thats been bothering me about this season and that is why are the Leviathans lying low, you know trying to conform to the social norms, like say why are they wearing clothes? why are they not running around grabbing anyone on the street and just feasting, since they are supposedly immortal?

They want to take over the world; not destroy it.

They just found themselves in possession of a meat farm. Why would they want to destroy it? They're hungry.

I guess I didn't pose my question well, what I mean is why are they laying low, for example using a hospital where they can just take advantage of the sickly and nearly dying or working in an IT firm it seems they are living the lives of the people they change into, it doesn't seem right. If they truly view it as a meat farm, why not just round up tastey healthy meals, put them somewhere and have a go.

I guess what I am trying to say is, they are acting very much like Humans, something that I dont think monsters that have been locked away for so long would do. An example is we don't act like cows. I hope I am expressing myself clearly.

You seem to see these Monsters as humanoids that act on all basic instincts, but humans aren't the only ones with a brain. They plan to stay there long term. Rounding up humans to eat will get everyone's attention. Sure, they can't be killed and see themselves as immortal; but immortal or not, you don't want to spend your days getting shot at. We've seen in the past that even the most obvious monsters can be seen in a human light. Vegetarian Vampires, That girl Dean just killed for saving her kid, etc. Just because they are monsters, doesn't mean they can't fall to some of the basic human emotions.

Dr. Horrible said it best, "The world is a mess and I just... need to rule it"

Quick question. What's easier? Having to hunt down your dinner, or luring it straight to you?

Sure, they could just go about consuming whole towns, and in a couple of months they've eradicated the primary source of protein on the planet. Better to lay low, set things up so that you can mind-screw the cow into stepping into the shredder, and enjoy your meal with minimal effort there-after.

New episode was decent, the kid wasn't terrible and to be honest, lame as it might sound, I kind of hoped her father had died and she would join them as a sort of apprentice.

If only for the reason that all interesting characters are dead by now. Sam is really the only one left and he got kind of boring. Dean is just in constant douche mode.

Meh, maybe not this girl but I would like for Dean and Sam to train someone who could follow their footsteps.

As far as monsters go, those were kind of lame.

    Average episode.

Sam has been my favorite part of this season. I liked the kid last night, she was a competent young hunter.

Dean wasn't as annoying as he usually is; I liked his interactions with Krissy. Him freezing up during the confrontation at the end doesn't bode well for Sam, having an unreliable partner.

Is it just me or has the show spent so much time showing Dean circling the drain that they've forgotten about Sam's supposedly crippling mental problems?

I miss Castiel :( Anyone know if he is confirmed permanently dead, or if he has been cast for any future episodes this season?

They've forgotten a LOT of things, and many things that were supposed to be major plot points have just been shrugged off in the next couple of episodes. (The brothers being hunter by the police all over the country, and 3 episodes later, they're back pretending to be Federal Agents being one example).

Eh, this is juts routine for supernatural. But I suspect the problem you mentioned will be addressed, because this episode's begin montage showed a few seconds of Sam's hallucinations. They don't want to remind us of that again only to ignore it, do they? :sherlock:

I am sick and tired of Dean and Sam killing gods left and right with glorified sticks after a one sided fist fight.

Do gods reform after "being killed"? I mean, if they don't, then how did people know what exactly would kill them? A specific branch from a tree being prepared in a certain way is awfully specific to be just guesswork without it ever being tried out, so the gods should reform, right? The Egyptian god was said to reform but he was the only one so far.

Other than that, fun enough episode, a bit filler-y, though. Loved the interrogation scene.
