Are there still people here playing this game? I bought it two weeks ago and while I still stick to no stats game, since I suck, it is fun. Is there a DLp group of sorts?

 

I played it on occasion, though I'm more partial to League of Legends nowadays. The community is better me thinks. My IGN(in both of them) is Kthr, so you can add me if you like. I have yet to really pratice in HoN though(most of my friends play LoL) so I'm usually unsure as to which builds I pick.

They are having a promo of 12-day free play for those without an account. Also if you wish to get an account, you can purchase a certain amount of goblin coins (in game currency for mini transaction add ons) and get a free account as well. So if you are keen, probably a good chance to get gaming.
For established players, if you complete a game during this period (or the weekend gone only - not sure) you get 100 gold and 100 silver coins.
I still enjoy the game. Find it great fun though the community is rather bad on the whole. But I generally play with a friend or two so it doesn't bother me too much. IGN is PinoyJas if you are keen to set up a game. I only play stat recorded games so I get coins from them.

I figured I would bump this thread as there is a largeish patch tonight. HoN is moving from version 2.35 to 2.5 and the Dev's say it will be big.

I tried it out but I prefer League.
Also, they recently hired MsPudding as a new community coordinator. Who is doing HoN's champion spotlights now?

Stopped playing it, cause of all the shitty heroes they keep releasing for EA. Almost every heroe they release has a disjoint skill, free portal key for all.

 

Actually off the top of my head I can only think of two heroes that can disjoint, Gemini and Monkey King, and MK is designed around combos and avoiding damage through his disjoint, they gave him shitty HP for that reason.

 

I mostly play this so I can play all mid to be honest. Probably the best part of HoN.

 

Blue Pink random is pretty awesome also.(Blue and pink random, rest of their team picks whatever they random, then everybody goes mid).

 

My bad, heroes with blinklike abilities/jump/skill that goes thru cliffs

 

2.5 finally arrived and with it there is a new mentoring system, I'm eager to try it out for anybody interested.

 

I'm probably going to give this a try in a week, as soon a finals are over. I would appreciate anything to help me not suck massively.
