The difference, though, is that Tryndamere typically has an easier time reaching lategame than an AD Sion does.

Meh, I have to disagree. But I do understand how some people see/saw it that way.

Honestly, I don't think they're nerfing him enough, a little less health is going to have some impact early game, sure, but not a whole hell of a lot late-game. Which is where he's damned OP.

 

To me, any champion that gets enough farm and kills is going to be a massive threat late game, it's just that Trynd has a massive advantage in that. He has a heal, an escape, a debuff that can reduce your attack damage and movement speed and of course who can forget his ult, this means that it's far easier for trynd to stay either stay in lane or escape a bad situation. Because of this, trynd is able to farm well and in a fight he can escape if it's looking bad, and when he gets away with a sliver of health left then you know he's just going to run into jungle and heal up by the time the next minion wave arrives.

 

It's his critting on top of all that that makes him too stronk.

All you really need on a trynd to be godly is a PD and an IE. Everything after that is just extra, whereas to get to that same level other carries need more items.

 

Just had an absolutely awesome game.

I'm playing Xin, we've got a Voli, Cait, Twitch and Cass. Beginning seems okay, but not too good.

Then VOLI starts feeding. It turns out later game that he's building AP. On Volibear.


Yeah.

About 15 minutes in, after being mildly poked at for building AP Voli, he leaves. This allows the other team (comprised of an olaf, sivir, jax and pantheon), to really start pushing.

I'm laning with Twitch, but he's passive as hell, and only pops out of stealth to last-hit the characters that I've done all the work on, and repeatedly sacrifices me to set up a kill when, if we'd worked together, we could have still gotten the kill.

Fuckbag.

Anyway, Cait is doing really well, but we still get pushed back to our base. Well, at about 27 minutes in, Cass abandons.

So we're 3v5. Me, Twitch and Cait.

But somehow, we hold them off, all towers (except nexus towers) down, all inhibs down, but they can't push hard enough past the Fed Cait and KSing (but still fed) Twitch and my ability to shut down a character long enough for the other two to rape them.

So, we repeat that pattern for a good fifteen minutes, till we've fed the hell off of all the minions, and finally, we kill all but Sivir, who runs like a bitch.

Well, by this point we're strong enough to completely push a lane with super-minions and down their nexus towers in the time most of them are dead. We rape the couple that pop, and end up WINNING in a 3v5. Hard.

It was EPIC.

 

I've figured out why I like Riven: she reminds me of Tonks.

Been playing Twisted Fate the last few games, He's going to be an absolute beast with a bit more range on him. Can't wait till the patch.

That's pretty impressive man. I'm a relatively new player to LoL and I play Leona some. I never seem to get a lot of kills as her but I do help the team and tank. Just out of curiosity, what was your item build for Leona when you carried the team?
