Yes, he did. Could be a hint that he is Uzumaki, could be nothing. The same with his comment to Kakashi about a "good eye". I wonder how long till we get to know his true identity.

Also, it seems that Sasuke will enter this fight soon and the end of manga is nigh. Maybe even before 2013? Unless there is some big revelation about a new enemy or something like that.

 

Kishi has stated this is part 2 out of 3, IIRC.

What would come after this? 500 chapters of Naruto complaining about paperwork?

 

It's almost a guarantee that Naruto transforms into the 9-tails in the near future. And, while he's powerful, Naruto isn't Hokage material yet. Part 3 would probably be about him becoming Hokage material mentally. It's clear he's still a dufus. Kakashi's observation's were all common sense.

 

If Tsunade was killed the next hokage would have to be Kakashi. Aside from raw power and speed, Kakashi is superior to Naruto in every way. Guy is Kakashi's only real equal but no way does Guy become hokage.

Naruto is just too stupid and naive to be Hokage.

 

I'm sure Naruto's fight with Sasuke, however it ends, will go a long way in forcing him to mature. He's changed a lot over the course of Shippuden. Every big fight and major event has improved him greatly. The biggest challenges still await him. He might be Hokage material by the end.

 

Is Naruto off this week, or is it just too early for the chapter to be posted yet? Nothing on mangastream at the moment.

 

Didn't hear anything about there being no new chapter this week, so odds are the chapter is just taking running a bit late getting posted.

 

Ah, that's what I thought. I'm getting impatient here. I need my Naruto fix. edit: just checked narutoget and it seems that the anime is still in filler mode. goddammit.

 

The anime returns to canon in january.
