I'd amend that to, some of the devs do. There are quite a few who charge waaaay too much for an utterly shitty game and do not deserve it.

Yeah I agree, you've seen me bragging about this on Facebook. This needs to become a permanent staple of this site, it's just that damned awesome.

So long as we keep it in December. >_> I want to punch faggots mentioning Christmas and it aint even July yet. D:

However, I predict that with such advanced notice, Christmas 2012 will be even more of a success. Bets on getting up to a grand in gifts by then? :awesome

Actually, I'm pretty sure we've already passed $1000 this year.

I started tallying it up, and the list from the beginning to Far Cry 2 is over $1100. By that time, I thought the point was made.

*note, this is the original prices and does not take packages, bundles or sales into account.*

Regardless, with cracking $1k so early in the list, it's clear that over $1000 has been spent for this. Even with the sales, there's probably just shy of $3k imo.

Lol punch me then, I was saying Christmas in July using the summer sales. We're probably already well over 2 and on our way to 3 grand I'd think if we were to use the normal retail cost.

Does anyone know if you purchase one of the bundles, can you gift the individual games, or can you only gift the entire pack?

All the bundles I've ever bought, gifted or received on Steam have been treated as a single item, with no way to split the games up. It's possible that's been changed since, but I doubt it.

Yeah, full price, we are well over the 1k mark. I was actually referring to the cost spent on the shit. Like getting So and So game for $5 x 200 or what not... D:

Counted 118 games (might be off 1 or two), so assuming the average price was ~$10 (a fair assumption I think when you factor in the games like skyrim) then we'd be right around $1000

Something I just noticed when I couldn't find MYSELF using the search player in steam. If you have you profile set to private, or set to only be viewable by logged in steam members, you evidentally don't show up in the search engine to be found without a direct link. Hella annoying, but that might be why we couldnt find some of you. If you're not already in the DLP community group, send me a friend request and I'll make sure to add you, but I think I've already friended everyone and waiting on accepts.

Right now we're sitting at $1,211.49, though I think I missed a few of the games.

    Alright guys!

We're reaching end game here. While I'm still accepting games for the pile, I'm going to need everyone who is involved (Read: Wants to participate in the draw) to fill out the following form, to ensure that everyone receives a game that they're able to play.

Click here to go to the form. Fill it out as best you can, and keep this running smoothly DLP, you amazing bunch of bastards. :awesome

Given the relative balance of 33% and 66% off discounts, and the overwhelmingly large numbers of 50% off, it probably isn't exaggerating by much to say that the average discount was about 40%. Given that we cracked $1k so early in the list, I felt it wouldn't be much of a stretch to assume that the actual amount spent on the games would be over $1k. It's not like people won a ton of games in the Gift Giveaway(enjoying you coal and valve coupons, everyone?).

Are we supposed to fill out the form if we asked for a specific thing? I filled it out, but I don't want it looking like I'm trying to get two things or anything.
