The Harry/Fleur craze started thanks to one Mrriddler, and his now-unreadable Secret of the Male Veela. That's the earliest popular H/F fic I can remember.

 

It's funny. Whenever I receive a review focused on the relationship side of my fic, this is almost exactly it. I even got one today:

The Secret Diary of Fleur Delacour Aged 16 3/4 also came out around that time. While it is hardly good from a DLP standpoint, it was very popular back then and would've helped upped the interest in the pairing from the sappy-fic readers.

Not really, there are so few H/F fics out there that are worth mentioning and they've all already been mentioned. I go through the rubbish bin that is FFN's H/F section about once a week and repeatedly come out empty.

 

So write your own!

That's how we GET the decent ones in the first place. And quite a lot of people here like H/Fl, so you wouldn't have problems of only one or two people making suggestions

 

Methene, I too have a Harry/Fleur community in FF. Which is, sorry to make you feel inadequate or anything, has far more stories listed than yours. But feel free to check it out.

 

Quality>quantity.

 

Does it matter? I'm aware that most of them are crap, but they still involve harry and fleur.

 

Trust me, it matters.

This is a place of quality fanfiction, most of us have no desire to read garbage.

And yes, those stories involve Harry/Fleur, but who would want to read the 15th iteration of an older Harry Potter who plays the guitar and wants to become a healer to wake his mum up from a coma and somehow falls in love with Fleur while still in school?
