Only one person called me Denarian, but it was discussed between page 9 and 12 that since mishie defended me she was in my scum faction. The only scum faction whose roles know each other's (more or less) is the Denarians, so it is logical that people thought I was one like him.

 

So, lightly in my defense - every post I've made so far has been on my cell phone. As such, I've been quite brief. When I get home this evening from work I'll mount a proper defense.

 

Okay, I'm off to bed. I'm not sure how the voting will go, and I would be willing o change my voe depending, but at the moment I really feel ha what I said about focusing on Stojil is true. Whoever is night killed tomorrow will just be compared to him again, whether it be because they defended him, or they were against him, and it will probably be he main topic of discussion again. So I am just going to leave my vote.

Who knows, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night. If I do and Zennith is close to a lynch, I will trade it in as I can see the scum vibes he is giving people.

Actually in something resembling Zenniths defense I know from personal experience it really is an incredible pain in the ass trying to post short stuff on DLP much less long posts even on the best phones. For the moment I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on that.

 

Yeah, I dealt with that for most of WH2, and it was fucking terrible.

That said, I think we need to lynch Stojil because a) I do suspect he is scum and b) no matter what, he is going to be a distraction from real scum if he is in fact innocent.

I don't think Uncle Stojil is scum. While his flailing about is rather cringe-worthy to watch, I think it's more likely he has an important town role and doesn't want to lose it. His inexperience at Mafia may also be influencing this, as this is his first game. Role wise I'm discounting him as a Denarian because if he wasn't in direct communication with one of the others they would at least know who he is and support him accordingly. Mishie, I think, was just playing the part of white knight for him, pointing out the flaws in the argument for lynching him as plenty of us have done before.

As for who I do suspect; EvanTide rings a couple of bells, as does Krogan due to him going back on his no lynch stance. If I had to pick right now I'd probably vote EvanTide, not for anything concrete, but because the feel of his posts sets off my scumdar. SmileoftheKill gets an honourable mention for switching his votes about like mad, but that just strikes me as him being a guy with only his own intuition to work with rather than a having a night action backing him up.

 

The problem with Uncle Stojil is people are going to be suspicious of him for the rest of the game until he is lynched or killed, unless he gives us true proof that he is a townie. I learned this the hard way in the Female Mafia game. If you start off wrong, even if you are innocent, it follows you the whole game. It seriously takes peoples attention away from real targets.

So, at the same time... I am completely suspicious of people bandwagoning him right off the bat. Scum are going to hide beneath him in order not to be suspected. He is a very easy target.

Either we lynch Uncle Stojil now and not have to deal with this blocking any part of the game later on (and hope he did not have an important role), or we take him out of the equation at the moment and look for other potential scum targets, we could always lynch him later.

Personally, as I was the girl in his situation last game I played, I am hesitant to join the lynching against him. There is little proof that he is scum other than some newbish posts he made.

I need to look back at the thread and see who seriously bandwagoned for his lynching, as those people are the most suspicious to me.

I'm starting to get a little insulted with how no one seems to be reading a word I say. Aekiel I have never once said no lynch, I in fact said very specifically

 

So, I'm just getting home. I'll say this: I've been bandwagoning so far for sure, obviously. I was upfront about it. Not because I'm bloodthirsty, but because I feel like in early stages of the game there's still too little information to really judge what a person might or might not be. Since Stojil has been a distraction this entire time, it seemed clear to me that he should be the one lynched, that way the game can progress normally from here on out.

To Dhulli: I jumped on the 'bandwagon' from one vote and from the entire day before. The reasoning from then didn't just up and vanish, all of the points made then were certainly not negated by last night's events. As such, it made sense to me to keep going in that same direction. Out of curiosity, why are you so insistent that Stojil isn't scum? You seem very certain of this at a point where none of the rest of us can be at all certain about anything. This whole Denarian concept is starting to make sense to me, and Dhull - I think you might be one of them.

 

I'm not seeing Dhulli as a Denarian, I think that sounds pretty random really.

Zennith and Stojil both look bad but Uncle has more votes so

Lindsey put it best I think, Stojil and his debatable scuminess is going to dominate future days discussion, or we'll be led to a Stojil dominated discussion..

Either case would be a waste of posts and an easy way for scum to go unnoticed, something we can't let go unaddressed.

I don't think Stoji's scum because his posts show his inexperience more than scumminess and most of the people voting for him are going "Oh, I don't think he's scum but he's a distraction so we'll lynch him first and then deal with scum". I think there are far too many scum in this game for us to waste our lynches on distractions.

Your long post makes you feel less scummy Zennith but I'll keep my vote deadline and update later after a reread if I don't fall asleep before then.
