    So, is there a way to get around needing to wait 30 days to send gifts if you have a new account? Doesn't seem fair to those that I have if they need to wait another 25 days or so.

    No, I don't think you can. Maybe if you buy with Paypal? As far as I'm aware, the delay is there to add a barrier in the way of scammers who abuse the gifting system and creditcard chargebacks.

    They'll just have to wait. Send them a PM to let them know what's going on.
