@Jormungandr - Thanks for the HF:Episode One, mate. The fun part is that I never played a single Half-Life game in my entire life, so this will be fun

 

To who ever gets this game, get the high res mods, and mod the shit out of it. It was amazing before, it's utterly epic now. Players fixed and tweaked the game to hell and back after the company went out of business, and it becomes a classic you won't forget playing. I'd kill for a new RPG in the style of Arcanum, mixed with Silverfall, in the Skyrim engine.

Heh, I remember my friend, Dave, having the board game version from when he was in college... during his GW miniature buying binge. Note, I think the only GW miniature game he ever really played was Mordheim.

If we do this again this year please announce it late nov or early dec as i keep my video game purchases for the holidays and had already maxed my card and i'd really like to give back. (got me some skyward sword, red dead redemption, metal gear solid hd collection, skyrim and deus ex)

i was already reading the gog forums regarding this, i'm currently struggling with my laptop trying to set up dual boot win7/xp to play some older games, i already have modded the shit out of bg and neverwinternights but win7 gave too much trouble with kotor 1/2 and deus ex 1/2

 

Yojorocks was a legend and got me Bastion, a game a mate has been raving about for a while.
