I wouldn't know, I went through like two bottles of Sake and half a bottle of Moonshine with some friends last night and there are fuzzy patches after my friend came and got me. Since I have chronic insomnia I dont really sleep much either so I just kind of drift in and out of fuzzy patches of memory.

Dammit Aekiel, if you hadn't revealed the blackstaff's identity, I had a pretty good plan in mind.

Anyways, if the blackstaff is alive not communicating with Aekiel, I'd suggest killing Aekiel tonight. Small chance but Stoji will come back at night and scum will probably target him rather than Aekiel so Aekiel living through the night (or being sent to ebay) will vindicate him somewhat. At least, that's how I think the scum will act but damn, this game is complex so I dunno.

Also Aekiel, if you wouldn't mind asking the blackstaff and confirming that Jeram was his kill on night 1, that would be grand. Seems pretty obvious but it's better to be sure.

I am seriously trying not to be a lurker here, but I have just been watching everyone bicker back and forth to try to gather information. I am slightly lost at the moment and trying to clear things up. Time to play devil's advocate.

Okay, is there any other proof that Stojil is the Blackstaff, OTHER than Aekiel's slip up? (many posts, too tired to look through them all). I just have this strange feeling that Aekiel is scum (an awesome and cunning scum though). Maybe I'm missing something, but I find it to be awfully convenient that the Red Duchess managed to sell off the Blackstaff on the second night. There was literally 27 people alive yesterday, that would be around a 3% chance of guessing it right. Either the Red Duchess had to know of the Blackstaff's identity, or he/she had a very lucky guess.

I guess I'm just worried that Aekiel is just scum that is trying to sacrifice both Zennith in a lynch and Stojil in a night kill/role block as every heavy hitter will be targeting him tonight if he is the Blackstaff.

You can't look at it as the Duchess auctioning the Blackstaff Lindsey. You posted yourself on what a dividing factor Stojil was. It just so happened that what had us suspicious about Stojil was him playing the idiot, trying to downplay his importance. The Duchess acted on that and it played out to what you see here.

That's my read at least. Completely dependent on how much of Aekiel's posts are true.

hmm, I do have a proposition though for the case where Aekiel's lying. Let's see if he survives the night? I would ask Father Forthill not to protect him and the blackstaff to NK him if he's lying. If he dies and stoji lives, stoji can corroborate with his story. If both of them die, he's obviously lying. For other cases (involving silencing), we can talk about probabilities

 

This actually sounds reasonable. Doesn't help me, but that's fine. I'm resigned anyway, and this looks like a good course of action.
