I still like the idea of Sesc being it because he gets very into his role, but since he hasn't posted much on here I am going to hold back my nomination, depending if his posting gets up before we decide all of this, then I will nominate.

If not, I will probably vote for Lungs out of him and the other possible candidates.

I apologize for my lateness, due to a sudden rise in work yesterday.

My personal opinion of this considers the White Walker and the scum factions.

Three people go ranging, having the chance of private conversation. Their check is returned to the LORD COMMANDER.

Obviously, roles which may survive a winter kill are suited for this purpose. However consideration should be given to the lesser Town roles, who, when killed, do not have a major impact on the town's role strength.

Having said that, attempting to send scum on ranging trips is also feasible. A kill will be achieved on scum (am I correct in stating this?) which helps us.

Being new to this, I may have missed something, especially since I have just woken up. Feel free to point out anything I have said that is wrong.

 

We can assume the White Walker will try to get himself ranged. As he can still use his abilities even when he goes ranging. Possibly even asking for the Dragonglass dagger so that the other two are unprotected.

I would then like to ask you what are considered as "lesser Town roles" ?

The Wildlings and The Red Court will probably try to send in someone that is immune to Winter Kill. For the Wildlings, The King of Giants may be sent, in hopes of killing the White Walker. For the Red King's Court, the one sent could be the Red King, due to the fact that Azor Ahai is used in the day, and since the Red King does not have any active ability in the Night, there is everything to gain and nothing to lose to send him ranging.

I do not understand what you mean by "attempting to send scum", are you implying that we should send a potential scum as a ranger instead of lynching him/her?

 

This is a bad idea. The White Walker will probably not target them on the basis that it might be the giant :\

 

Anya: To me, the three most important roles look like the Thief, the Captain, and the First Ranger. The Thief fo various info gathering abilities, the Captain who is the only person to know who was killed by what scum faction, and the First Ranger to counter the white walker.

Everyone who says that I'm suspicious or that something feels off about my posts: Yeah, I expected that. I seem to be physically incapable of playing not suspicious town. I blame the fact that I became half decent at faking town when I was scum. And if you're not suspicious of me at all, then I'm suspicious of you. You should be suspicious of me. You should be suspicious of everyone.

Now that I've set a record for using the word suspcious in one paragraph, moving on.

I don't trust Lungs. I just flat out don't trust him and am not voting for him in any positive way. I just feel he's trying too hard to come off as town. So he's not getting my vote. Also not getting my vote right now is Sesc. I've gotten a pretty good read on his play style over the course of the games. He starts off playing casual while he tries to figure things out. After he has few ideas, he does something to shake things up in day 2. But until he does that, I suspect him.

Right now I see no good candidates. The best is probably Moridin, and that's only because he hasn't established himself one way or the other to me.

I do think that while I'd love to be Lord Commander, I just don't have the time to focus on this game as much as I do normally, so I wouldn't do the role justice. So yeah, no one else nominate me (though I doubt anyone was planning on it)

I'm still very much on the fence about who to vote for, and if I should nominate anyone. This is a rather difficult decision.

 

Everyone can nominate one person, right? And you can't rescind nominations? Either way, there is no harm done with nominating someone. I'm going to be nominating someone before the day ends, I'm just going to re-read a few posts.

 

I don't know, something about Lungs makes me nervous. :/
