If Naruto really stole all the bijuu there is no way in hell that Madara, Tobi, Sasuke, or anyone can stop him. I'm sorry but we passed fucking ridiculous about 200 chapters ago. This is worse than dbgt. Power up after power up it never fucking ends.

 

Okay. I'm probably going to ignore everything about the Bijuu from the last few chapters.

I miss the days of the Tailed Beasts of being actual fucking monsters. Where the effects of them onto their Jinchuuriki being complete rage and hatred:

The 'misunderstood person has a tragic backstory, so therefore I can forgive them' shtick has been done to death and back. It's overused, moronic and unnecesary. Let's get the death-and-destruction back up in this shit. Whatever happened on relying on your own power so you wouldn't have to go to the Kyuubi, Naruto?

 

Wow, that one panel really makes me miss the old days when Naruto was actually good and didn't rely on ball numbing action scenes to keep its fans interested. No crappy dialog involved. Just pure emotion and a nicely drawn panel.

 

Ok seriously, I miss the old days as much as anyone (and have bitched about it as much as anyone), but the amount of complaining littering the thread needs to stop. Like it or not, Kishi's decided to give us "ball numbing action scenes" that keep us interested. And you know what? They're pretty awesome. Either stop reading, or deal with it, preferably by finding serious lulz in each new chapter.

Or write a fic if you're that pissed. It's what I'm doing.

Once again I'm reminded of the fact that if someone said shit like this about a fanfic, they'd be flamed to hell and back.

 

The portrayal of the Bijuu is problematic insofar as there never was much foreshadowing, or even small pieces of evidence from earlier in the series, to suggest that the Bijuu are in fact... kind cuddly creatures.

It would have been better if we had, say, Naruto speaking to Kurama earlier in the series - and there being signs that the Kyuubi isn't completely malevolent. Or if Kurama was early on portrayed as being impressed by Naruto's tenacity. Or fuck it, if the Kyuubi is shown to be helping a desperate Naruto without needing to be cajoled.

With these, the reveal that the Bijuu are actually essentially good-willed creatures would seem less an asspull.

It still wouldn't explain, though, why Bijuu chakra is and has always been described as MALEVOLENT, SINISTER AND TERRIFYING.

The action scenes are awesome, though - which is why, I assume, we all read Naruto.

 

Maybe because the people who described it as such have a bias?

 

No, he said their chakra. Though that's only been said about the Kyuubi's chakra who's a self-admitted mass of malevolence. Until Naruto did his thing.

EDIT: And I've just had a theory on why the Bijuu have been killing humans for centuries. The Rikudou Sennin is essentially the Bijuu's parents and they hold in great respect. The sage discovered chakra and formed a religion based around its use to bring peace to the world. Of course, the sage died but his teachings carried.

Teachings which became distorted by humanity who basically uses chakra as a weapon to kill one another, generating shinobi and their clans. The Kyuubi has the ability to sense negative emotions, an ability that may or may not be shared by the other Bijuu. They appeared and killed humans, leading to them being considered natural disasters and Jiraiya himself said that the Kyuubi was known to appear wherever human malevolence collected and festered.

...Where was I going with this again? Wait, right. Basically my theory is that the reason the Bijuu have been killing humans is because they screwed up what the Rikudou Sennin taught them by turning chakra into a weapon, warring with each other and essentially doing the opposite of what the Sage wanted.

 

Kinda hard to do when a series has gotten so bad even the universe it's set in isn't even interesting anymore for me to write fanfiction. The action scenes aren't even that good anyways. Kakashi vs Zabuza holds up better than any of these fights imo.

And complaining about others complaining is just as annoying. I'm just irked that Kishi is catering to the lowest common denominator of his audience now. I've spent a lot of years reading this story. It's hard to just stop reading.

The only good thing to come from the latest chapter is the possible new line of bijuu plushy toys.

I got bored so I watched the latest shippuden ep. (It's on the point where Kushina is explaining about her being the Jinchuuriki.) They changed a few things from canon.

Mito sealed the nine-tails in her self after Hashirama obtained the Nine-Tails from Madara, so in this it appears she didn't help in the fight directly.

Kushina says the sannin had no idea about her being a Jinchuuriki- while not a change, it's as much confirmation as we're probably gonna get.

And that her mother taught Minato sealing jutsu, not her...

They had a comedy scene that resembeled Lee/Gai hug when Kushina/Minato discovered they were going to have a baby. It was a bit disturbing.
"We're going to have a baby, ya know."
"I'm going to be a father."
"We're going to have a baby, ya know."
"I'm going to be a father."
And it went on for like, two minutes...

Edit: I don't mind if Inert updates Hurricane Suite, I'd just like an update! I haven't had a good chapter to read in about a week of anything. =/

 

Have you noticed that so far there is no Shukaku? He's crazy, so I think Kyuubi is gonna have to make him submit.

that'll be awesome...probably... I think.

 

The idea of Kurama bitchslapping Shukaku for acting crazy when there's work to be done is hilarious.

 

I am kind of happy we got there names, it helps in terms of staying to canon if fanficition.
