Couldn't find a more relevant forum, so there:

I'm having trouble reaching the login page for fanfiction.net.

It's https://login.fanfiction.net/ right? i get the message:
"Google Chrome could not load the webpage because login.fanfiction.net took too long to respond."

pinging login.fanfiction.net reveals "request timed out"

http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com/login.fanfiction.net - "It's not just you! http://login.fanfiction.net looks down from here."

anything requiring the login doesn't seem to work, too (for quite obvious reasons) including, but not limited to:
posting signed reviews,
replying to reviews (i don't think there is one needing replies currently, though),
cheking stats (direct links in profile time out the same)
and, ironically - posting on the fanfiction.net help forum ;D

Also, there is no announcement on the site.


Basically - is anyone having similar trouble? (it Seems like an internal fanfiction.net problem, but for whatever crazy reason might not be one - but there are no screams for mercy and cries for help on the internet poping up in searches...)

If not, any ideas of further approaching the problem?


(it's not really important to login now, I think people can wait for their reviews, but I would really like to be able to log in on Wednesday to update myself )

p.s. https://m.fanfiction.net/m/login.php doesnt work too, as well as trying to use other browsers.

 

I can not seem to be able to log in either, best just give it a few hours as the problem could be any one of at least 1000 problems all of which can not be solved from here.

 

Not logging in for me either. All you can do is wait until they fix it.

On another note, is anyone else pissed off with the restrictions on ffn? It annoys me that I have to login every 3 days.

 

So it's not my computer or my internet provider, that's good to know. I hope Author's are using the time for revisions and writing.

Yup. I just got out of bed and it's working again. I also hate this "3 day login" bullshit. It's annoying. Why the fuck can't they let us stay logged in forever?

 

So much fucking this. Not only that, but I have to retype my password every 3 days as well, it doesn't even remember that.

Why have such a retarded security thing for a website about fanfiction of all things. -_-
