There's a reason a solid 75% of the game is under 1.4k ranked in both normal and ranked Elo.

 

So right now I'm trying to look for a duo que partner for ranked games. I've been sticking to normal games until now, and a couple ranked games. To be honest, I was quite shocked at how bad they were, so I am quite positive I can go up in ranks. Regardless, I find it difficult to carry a team alone, hence this post. (Although, it's stemming mostly from the fact that my team decided to surrender 4-1 outvote me, despite the fact that I was the ad carry and I knew I could kill the enemy team, if we had a good team fight). Shen changes....

Why do they have to turn all pure tanks into tanky DPS? Self-scaling passive CD makes him build Tanky DPS now instead of tank items.

Efficient use on Taunt now means you have to gun for the clusters instead of the assassin/tanky DPS threats. His energy is tapped out so fast if he only taunts 2 people and has to defend and damage them.

Combined, it means a Shen has only two chances to taunt in a fight and near zero chase ability once he's tapped.

EDIT: I'm not hating the changes. They're good changes that makes Shen strong again. I'm hating the direction they're forcing Shen into to be a constant threat like other tanks.

Damn, you beat me by a minute. I was about to delete that post. Something was bugging me about the page so I went back and I just hadn't joined.

 

So I just saw a video of a Nautilus player jungling and my god is his jungle slow. It took him a minute and a half to grab wraiths and red with two leashes. His skills aren't exactly stellar either what with the fact that his Q can't go over walls and he isn't able to do much damage either. Add to that the fact that his ult is easily worse off than Alistar's Q and W (knock up and away respectively) and you've got one shitty champion.

 

Mmm, if you can taunt two people, you should be set with energy in the entire fight. Although not so much if you only taunt one. Tbh though, besides that, they just added damage and more health to him. not really a lot of changes except everything stronger. The only part that kind of sucks is the reduced taunt duration.

 

It takes more than a day to learn how to play a character.

 

I am incredibly tired of doing randoms. On some days, I get so frustrated with randoms that my teamwork suffers and I stop giving a shit about the game.

I'd really like to get some people together to practice with on a regular basis to build a team. I know there's already an 'official' DLP team, but perhaps there are some other ranked players out there that would like to consider playing together?

 

I believe the DLP team never really got on it's feet. (At least not that I'm aware of.) Probably because people realized after a few normal game queues that DLP members aren't especially competent, at least no more than anyone else you might get queued with.

Just generally quite a lot less idiotic, and more fun to talk to.

I personally don't enjoy ranked. I only play it when my duo queue partner harasses me enough. I'd be happy to play some normals with you though.

 

Well, Like I said in an earlier post, I'm still looking for a duo queue partner. So maybe we could play a few normals together Zeph and if I'm up to your level vice-versa, then we can play some ranks together?

 

I'm all for playing some normals/ranked with whoever! Just friend me. I should be on and ready to play at around 6-6:30 EST.

 

I'm also available for playing normals/ranked. I'm on fairly often, and am currently about half way to level 25, although I'd like to say that I'm pretty good for someone who isn't level 30. It really doesn't matter what champ I play, as long as I have a decent idea of how to build them and/or how to play them. I do at least decent with them, as shown by a game where we lost but I went 8 and 10 as Ziggs. It was my third ever Ziggs game. Their Yi got crazy fed in that game though.

I'm thinking about picking up Caitlyn soon, since I liked playing her when she was on free week, just so I have an AD champ to play if we need it. I can play GP, but, in my opinion, once you start playing ranged champs it's really hard to go back to playing melee.

 

I tend to run mid-afternoon and late evening/early morning.

Also, as a couple of you discovered last night, I play Summoners Rift only very rarely. Thus if that's what everyone else prefers I will need a bit to adjust my tactics as i'm used to Crystal Scar.
