My thinking is this: I've seen him looking at the thread multiple times, today. I posted, mentioning him as a lurker, Seratin put a lynch vote on him. At that point, he posted in the thread ("Ash: Tripping the Geiger Counter since 2012.") Since then, I've seen him looking at the thread a time or two. Because this is based on inactivity, all he'd have to do is post something meaningful and the wagon would pull over, we saw this with Snowflake.

He's seen that he can divert this, and chooses not to.

In any case, there's a potential 15% chance we lost the klackerz last night. It's not smart to expect the klackerz to bail everyone out, every day.

Also, we still haven't heard anything from Aekiel about who he's planning to commit today. If there was a definite answer to that, maybe my vote would change.

I'm feeling like we should lynch Republic, who I already voted for. Otherwise, Republic or Gambit for asylum. Either would be alright to me.

As I've said before, I don't think we necessarily have to lynch every day, as we DO have the asylum mechanic.

"This sounds awfully familiar," someone said.

"Yeah! What a repetitive guy. Let's lock him up!" someone shouted, undoubtedly White-Knighting the people who everyone else seemed to have described as scummy.

Of course, some players were conspicuously absent in their attempts to prepare for their real night actions.

"Is the Lord back yet?" Ashaya asked.

"No, he doesn't seem to be."

Everyone waited for the bell to toll again.

It did. Conveniently all the lights went out.

There was a shout of laughter in the darkness.

"Harry Potter, the Master of Death, has been ModKilled," screamed someone who could only be crazy.

"The Spirit of the Rogue Warlock!" Snowflake cried, shivering and curling herself up into a ball. "Who will save us now?!"

"Nobody!" the voice responded.

"Really?" Vesvius asked.

"Yeah," the voice responded again, sounding slightly exasperated at the general lack of screaming.

"Aww, shucks."

It was a dark night and full of suspicion but less homoerotica everywhere.

Everyone contemplated suicide tonight because so many people had died, except for the Hermonies, of course!

Midnight had risen with a final message that the body of TheSmileofTheKill had been mysteriously killed by the Klackerz. Once again, no one seemed to understand why anyone would want to kill the Magical Amber, before they realized that he, in fact, might not have been the Fenraellis, but rather, someone else. They didn't seem to be getting the hang of this.

Sleeping was no less easy today.

"LochNess, we're here to play!" someone shouted, a song upon their lips and joviality in their tone.

"Come in, will you?" LochNess asked.

"Avada Kedavra!" came the response.

LochNess rolled her eyes and jumped out of her chair, which she had been mastu- meditating in. She smoothed her skirt.

"I think it's time to duel a little better, isn't it?" the lead figure shouted, mostly to herself. Her wand flipped in a circle as a huge golden aura formed about her body. LochNess shook her head, realizing what it was. She dove behind the burning chair as a lance of golden light jumped from the aura and vaporized it.

"Damn. I don't remember how to counter that," she whispered. "What the fuck would Syao have done?"

Pull the sword.

"Facientis characterem!" she cried desperate, thinking of living things. A huge rhino standing on its hind legs, surrounded by plates of hard, rocky armor, was summoned suddenly.

"Kill it," the golden-bathed figure shouted to the other.

The other gave a heavy sigh. "Fine." A red and white pokeball appeared in her hand and a huge mammoth burst forth. "Lesboswine, use Earthquake!"

The room started to shake at strange frequencies. All of the rhino's plates cracked, sending jets of blood everywhere.

"It's fine," LochNess suddenly decided. "Ex sanguine facimus generare vires!"

"Damn, a transfiguration master!" said the one that summoned the pokemon.

But the broken and destroyed Rhyno had already become a smaller, more compact entity of blue steel and flying fists. "Lucario, use Vaccuum Wave!"

A burst of superspeeded air and all of Mamoswine's bones had cracked.

"No! Return!"

The blast of golden light hit the Lucario, disintegrating it into ash.

"Damn."

Draw the Sword.

LochNess looked about, unsure as to what to do.

Draw the Sword.

What did Syao do, she asked herself.

A flashback to the image of a man pulling a sword out of thin air.

"But he was different. We are different."

I am the Bone of my Sword, the spirit urged.

"Flow of water, salty and proud," LochNess whispered to herself.

Steel is my body and fire is my blood, the spirit continued.

"Never have I held a blade, as I fight only for the Master, of Death, of Magic," she continued to beg of her soul.

I have created a thousand blades, still it went.

"But I plead of you now, fashion me a weapon strong and true."

Unaware of loss, Nor aware of gain.

"This is not my soul, but a cry for help," LochNess looked ready to cry. Why was nothing happening? She dodged another burst of golden light.

Withstood pain to create weapons, waiting for one’s arrival.

"Will hold not a thousand but a million swords for just a day more of life," she pledged.

I have no regrets. This is the only path.

"I have no regrets. This is the only way forward." She converged on Syao's rhythm slowly but surely.

So I pray...

"So I pray." Her voice was uplifted and the previously silent member of the group had a sudden recollection of a man in blue and gold.

"Leave! We have to leave!" she shouted suddenly.

"Are you insane?" another bolt of golden light came after the question.

Unlimited Blade Works.

She thought she had gone insane. Bits and pieces of everything were known to her. How things were formulated, how spells were made. But more than that, far more than that, how swords were made.

"Unlimited... Blade... Works."

She put on her hand on the hilt of Excalibur, drawing it into existence.

Her technique was clumsy but true as she flashed over to the inexorable golden light and cut through it like a hot knife through butter.

The invader screamed.

"Get out of here!" another one screamed again, dragging the lead figure, who seemed to be burning to death, out of the room.

The sword, dropped to the ground, dissipated and LochNess slowly walked over to the mostly destroyed chair, sat, and began to meditate once more.

So, LochNess is the Jon, then. Yknow, since the OTP is dead, as is the Lutris/Matt combo. This means she has to be the Jon.

I'm assuming the correct course of action right now is to lynch her in light of recent events.

 

She could be lots of other things as well, but yes, lynching is what we probably should do, unless you want to wait a day and send her to the Asylum. Killing her there would ensure to us what role she was.

 

Oops, she COULD be the Castiel, but somehow I really fucking doubt it. Thoughts?

She couldn't be anything else, Stojil. If OTP is dead, if both Lutris/Matt are dead, then she could only be the Castiel if healed or the Jon. No matter what, it is the best lead we have. Even if she IS the Castiel, that is a totally pointless role. (like the person)

Fffff, or the KaiBOT. Damn, I'm not that sharp tonight. Long day was long.

 

Or the Vesvius.

Or the SmileOfTheKill if the first Regular role to die had that kind of protection.

Or the Mishie if the OTPs are alive and the two couples were the Lutris/Matt and KaiDASH/KaiBOT.

And....I checked with Lungs, the Vesvius IS immune to night kills. I just thought it meant he was only immune to lynches.

So, Stojil is in the Asylum, SmileoftheKill was lynched and LochNess survived a nightkill.

Of all of these, LochNess' not-death is the most interesting. Since the OTP and the Lutris/MattSilver are dead, that leaves her as either the Castiel (if the jwlk cured her) or the Vesvius. She could have been the Mishie or the Palindrome, but since the OTP is dead they're bereft of that protection.

Got to wonder why the Klackerz went for Smile though.

I mean, I understand some questions from the awesome people who do read them (unclear text, etc), but... "heyyy, y'know, I'm not quite sure what this role does, so I'm just going to ask instead of checking the rules." is frankly a little annoying~
