    A tech demo from Quantic Dream called Kara. It's a sad world where a video showing off new game engine has a more touching 7 minutes story than most things you can see in a TV or in a cinema.

    Simply incredible.

    It's called 'Good Books - Metamorphosis', and is a promo loosely in the style of Hunter S. Thompson. Even if you're not tripping balls, it's something of an awesome animation and overall an effective and creative promo.

    I'd just like to re-recc this, because holy goddamn Christ. I haven't been able to get this off my mind all day. I want to read this entire story. I want to watch this movie. I want the female voice actor in everything I play. It's so good.

    This is art, pure and simple.

    Okay, I just got around to watching this and... wow. The entire atmosphere is immensely poignant.
    (I also have to admit to being quite pleased when I heard that particular little Japanese song, since I've sung that one before.)

    If anyone still hasn't looked at this yet, and is the type to appreciate such things I suppose, then I also strongly recommend watching it.

    Finally got around to watching Kara. Hoooooo lyyyyyyyy shiiiiit. More emotion in 30 seconds than in 40 hours of games or 2 hours of movies. MAKE IT! MORE!

    Our lives would be so much easier and less stressful that way.

    EDIT: A nice animation about living a life with loved person, though Up did it better in my opinion.
