    I liked the episode, but the reactions from the other ponies towards the Cutie Mark Crusaders just went overboard. These are three elementry (?) school kids we're talking about, and seeing the whole town turn against them was just really uncomfortable to watch.

    Awesome episode, really strong and funny. The whole crime scenes were hilarious, and Mr. Cake is rather amusing.

    I imagine that it was Rainbow Dash that first came up with the idea to eat the cake, and then she roped Fluttershy into it -- I can't see her doing it on her own, but she caves easily to peer pressure. Rarity probably just found out about RD's plan and went along with it, as she doesn't like being left out.

    I'm glad Applejack wasn't in on the crime. I probably wouldn't have been able to take her seriously as the Element of Honesty anymore if that were the case.

    I think a better lesson to learn here was the importance of self-control however, not jumping to conclusions. Because no one on that train had it besides Twilight and Applejack.

    Honestly, I'd have preferred it if Rainbow hadn't been in on the cake-eating; Rainbow's already been shoved into the inconsiderate jerk role pretty frequently this season. Granted, she's supposed to be jerkish, but it's starting to get a bit overdone.

    Plus, if we're talking Elements, destroying a cake that Pinkie and the Cakes spent months working on in order to win a contest isn't exactly loyal.

    No, but the fact that Pinkie and the Cakes made it does.

    Also, Rainbow has slowly crept her way into being my new favorite pony, both because of how fleshed out she's becoming as the series goes on, as well as Chengar's representation of her. Hell, I'm pretty sure that some of the things he takes liberties on are probably going to end up being my head-canon, if only because he's that good an author.
