I feel like curse counterpicked themselves. They went with Veigar who really shines in the late game where every landed stun turns into a kill, but then went with Kayle who falls off late game because of her hybridized damage that can't take advantage of voidstaff or last whisper.

Good, now maybe they'll switch to dignitas vs clg.

---------- Post automerged at 09:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:21 PM ----------

    Nope.

    Didn't do that.

On another note: Teemo is getting bug fixed AND buffed. This is.. well.. unwelcome news. I already hate the little fuck.

    Curse's comp is really squishy.

Olaf and Ryze are going to burst them down really hard.

Also, they picked Karthus when TSM already had Soraka.

    Dumb.

    He really doesn't.
CLG won game 1 vs dignitas. I'm rooting for Scarra but I dunno if they will come back.

Chaox keeps getting caught out of position.

-Facepalm- I'm rooting for TSM, but so far curse is in the lead. If TSM doesn't normalize it soon enough, it's going to snowball away from them and we'll see a third game.

A lot of the time it is option one in all honesty but I'm getting much more paranoid as I play and if it looks like anyone with me is about to cut and run I make sure I cut and run faster. The only person so far I actually trust when I play though is Middy. On plenty of occasions I don't have the faintest clue what his plan is but as long as I follow along I usually end up racking up kills so I don't really care.

I've just got to practice and play more though. I think Wukong really is my absolute favorite champion so far, if he doesn't go on sale before the rotation is up I think I'm just going to buy him. Even though I still think I have a shit load to learn I can fairly easily place second a lot of the time and first a good number of times in kills and score in any Dominion match with him which is miraculous for me. Right now I'm learning all the little evil ways you can put his Decoy move to use and its just so much damned fun its insane.

Sweet Christmas, Dignitas! Soraka, Taric and Lulu on the same team? That's just being greedy.

Seriously, 3 support? What's the point in that? Never let your carry die I guess. At least they picked supports that can be aggressive...

It's going to work because CLG made some poor picks. Triple support/heal comps are heavily countered by aoe teams. Alistar instead of Leona, Amumu or Malph in the jungle, Kennen/Vlad/Morg in the top/mid picks would have shut this down, but that was just poor picking followed by Doublelift getting caught and that terrible fight in their top jungle that led to the baron kill.

Or they could've just banned the kogmaw. I don't think triple support would work with any of the other carries. Kog has the longest range and highest steroids of any AD carry, and the game is on Qtpie's back atm.

That's exactly the point of it. They have three supports to protect whoever CLG decide to focus, while Kog'Maw shreds the entire enemy team. It makes them a very tanky team and gives them ridiculous sustain for tower sieges. The only bad side is that Dignitas rely entirely on their carry for damage.

EDIT: It's similar to last year when having Vayne, Yorick and Zilean was FOTM. Protect your carry long enough to have him snowball out of control and win the game for you.

Man, what a blast. I'd never even seen 3 support let alone know how to counter it from an item perspective. I guess that's why they're pros though. Kinda sad not to see many of the heroes I like though.

Dignitas was definitely thinking about their teamfighting where CLG was focused on the lane matchups. Mundo/Kog are just so well complimented by the triple support. Taric/Soraka auras for armor/mr+the heal summoners, soraka heal, soraka ult, taric heal, lulu ult (which is basically a 600(+.5) heal, the bonus health is not lost when the effect ends) means that mundo can build straight HP and be nigh invulnerable, while Kogmaw has all the protection he needs. I'm sure CLG won't let them get away with the triple support with kog a second time.

I wish they would let them run it again and just go with a heavy aoe team to counter it instead. It would be a stomp when the teamfights started.

And what the fuck are they doing? Give them their choice picks but don't even go with AoE to counter it. The corki to vayne switch kind of makes sense since she will not need to worry as much about the armor/mr auras. But then they run GP and Lee again. And Anivia instead of Ahri? Very low aoe damage (compared to morg/kennen/vlad) and such dependence on the extremely nerfed blue buff. This is a terrible comp and they are relying entirely on winning their lanes and ending it early, seems like. Just like when TSM didn't ban Shyv at Kiev

Lol at the fat, blonde guy. 'I'm really hungry! Q_Q So let's do this last game (so I can go eat!)'

I'm surprised that so many teams are allowing Kog to carry the game so hard. At first, I found it cool. Then, I found it funny. Now? It's just getting sad. This latest comp with ali and anivia is better, but they'll still have the distance problem.

They're doing it again, but with Janna instead of Taric. Less sustain and no Dazzle to initiate with, but Janna is a defensive monster and a decent counter to AoE heavy teams.

And wow, Lulu solo bot against Alistar/Vayne. That's a ballsy move.

...which just backfired in spectacular fashion.

And a pretty shitty dive top evens it 3-3 and gives lulu a double buff.

I think CLG will have this. Dignitas has a history of throwing matches spectacularly.

    Hahaha, qtpie trolling you.

I really hate heal. Look at that bullshit lulu heal+ultimate at top lane. It was flawless play by Alistar/Vayne that put her into the wall for 6+ seconds of CC based on Lulu's awful positioning. Yet with heal, she would've gotten away pretty easily if Anivia hadn't showed up and landed the perfect wall and large burst. Heal stagnates gameplay just as much as old flash did.

With my friend Juede playing more aggressive supports like Nunu and Blitz, I hate it so goddamn much when he lands a picture fucking perfect grab on tristana while he has her explosive shot harass on him, only to have her heal for 1000hp and live after taking 4 tower shots at level 4.

LuLu is so OP. Her early game harass is ridiculous. Add her Heal + Polymorph + Ult and a good one is really hard to kill without some mistake.

CLG deserved this loss. I mean, what the fuck. Their picks are godawful and they did NOTHING to break up or counter the strategy that was obvious and clear coming out of Dignitas.
So fucking disappointing. "We got dominated even though we had an advantage. Better keep our comp mostly the same. Switching from Leona to Alistar oughtta do it!"

Translation of Announcers: Lulu raped CLG.

Did you see her burst alistar down to half health? ALISTAR.

    On a fucking SUPPORT.

    Bull. Shit.

There is nothing you can say to convince me that Lulu isn't ridiculously Overpowered. She was 2v1 at the start of the game and WINNING because of her stupidly huge harass damage. She's basically got a freaking nuke on her AA.

Did CLG play poorly? Yah. They focused mundo instead of Lulu when Lulu got away at that baron fight, even though mundo's ult was running and he had two/three supports to keep him alive.

    They almost totally ignored Kog.

    -Headshake-.

Still, no champion should be able to 2v1 and level 1-3 and fucking WIN. And then maintain her huge damage/harass without even buying much in the way of damage items at all.

So while CLG did poorly, Dignitas abused an overpowered champ. Which cheapens their win, and their team, in my eyes.

I personally will be rooting for TSM in the Finals.
