No, it was prior to him ever mentioning me that I thought he was town. He wasn't exactly whiteknighting either.

    Ohai guys!

Anyone else having trouble with Moscone atm? Or is it because of the slow-as-heck internet connection I have here? Shouldn't be a problem with flash on this computer. As soon as I get to the site, I type in my username and password and it just... sits there. The register button greys out like it's logging me in but several minutes and several tries later still hasn't managed.

Guess I'll try again later. ^^

Mishie and Seratin eh? Mishie isn't too surprising I reckon.

I think it might be your internet connection. I just connected to it without a problem.

So I'm guessing Mishie was the Court target and Seratin was the Coven kill? I was going to ask about vigilante kills, but then I remembered that they activate after 3 mislynches, not two in this game.

That sounds right. Mishie seemed to be a big lynch target, so the court probably took care of it. Can't say I really remember anything about Seratin though. Well, Goodnight, I'm crashing.

I think the logic of "Court killed Mishie because he was prime lynchbait" holds up pretty well, so I'll be going with that guess as well.

Seratin...hm. Only thing I can really think of is that he and KaiDASH had a back-and-forth going for a bit there. Which makes me think it's someone trying (poorly) to frame Kai.

Or he was on the court, like Fen, and they are down two members.

Most likely a combination of the two things - getting rid of a reasonably strong town read that wasn't likely to be protected, while trying to frame Kai, and to a lesser extent, myself.

And maybe Ashaya killing off the dude she latched onto day one to give herself some towncred. Who knows?

I have no way of defending myself, not really. All I can say is that I'm town, and something about the way Eidolonic's last two posts were phrased rubbed me the wrong way. I get the feeling that he is trying a bit too hard to connect Seratin and myself.

Not sure if I'm the only one who noticed that though :S

    This.

    Lynch: Ashaya

Before you say this about me, I am not lynching you due to any suspected links.

I just simply think that you are scum. Everyone knows the reasons, they have been mentioned by me and several others.

Thanks to my general laconic approach to these games and liking Ash I say we should wait to lynch her, at least one more day.

Instead I say HAMMER TIME: STRIKERLEE

    Because he really deserves it.

    Lynch Vote: bob99

There are several links between bob99, Klackerz and Mishie.

On D1, bob99 voted to lynch Klackerz fairly early on, and made a post about how what he did was stupid. In that same post, however, he stresses that he might well change his mind in later days. That said, he did stick his vote till the end, so it would be a point against a Klackerz-bob99 link, except that bob makes no further attempts to push the lynch on Klackerz, and is quite happy to let the momentum peter out. That combined with the rest makes it look like a bus on a lynchtrain he knew was never going to get enough support.

On D1, bob99 also puts mishie as his tentative townread but, again, is careful to lace the post with qualifiers, ending with a "so I really don't know".

On D2, bob99 mentions Mishie as scummy, but then slowly shifts his focus away. In the last post I linked, he also talks about how he'd be fine with lynching Klackerz, but is staying with Ashaya for now (which I interpret as him being reluctant to bus a fellow scum unless he absolutely has to).

On D1, Klackerz and bob99 had (as mentioned above) a bit of a faceoff regarding Klackerz's initial post about wanting in on the court. Klackerz's reply to bob is here - once again, note how the discussion revolves around game mechanics and hypotheticals, rather than any accusations that are aimed at drawing others into the discussion. It just feels... manufactured.

On D2, Klackerz replies to Ollie about bob99 with "He seems towny enough, but one can never know." Once again, hedging their bets with qualifiers. He then turns the question onto Ollie, asking why he was so particular about bob99 - an attempt to deflect attention onto his... suspecter? w/e.

On D2, Mishie was extremely against the idea of lynching Klackerz, despite being one of the other most viable targets. Normally, lynch targets are eager to get the lynch vote off, especially given the amount of evidence against Klackerz, but he was oddly reluctant, even to the point of asking if it was alright to hold off his vote for a bit. As can be seen, I saw nothing untoward with the idea at the time (especially since there were others like Jwlk around to finish it if need be) but as Jwlk rightly pointed out, there wasn't all that much discussion going on in the first place anyway. He also posted trying to shift suspicions away from Klackerz, which is (as mentioned above) odd for a potential replacement lynch victim to do.

Another thing that interests me is that unlike most others, Klackerz didn't mention the duke or the queen as powerful roles for scum to have. When I noticed that the questions were initially asked by Mishie, and specifically directed at Klackerz (among others), it made me wonder if it might not be a setup... Probably reading too much into it, especially since others who were more knowledgeable made the point about the queen and duke often enough, but thought I'd put it out here.

Still not sure where Geabe fits into this, but I'm relatively certain he's not the same scum team as these three. If I had to guess, I'd say he was a JW, but I couldn't say for sure.

...Yeaaaaah. Not liking that last post at all, either. Tempted to vote for Gambit because fuck white knighting...but no.

Also: Yo, Mori, did you completely miss this?
No shit there's a connection there.

Uh actually I have a town read on bob, that's why I was curious what a likely scum would say, I was hoping klack would try to make him out as scummy :facepalm

As far as Ash, I'm hardly WKing, I just want to wait another day before killing her.

Okay, so why do you want to wait another day exactly?

---------- Post automerged at 09:03 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:01 AM ----------

Also, it does look like you're WKing if part of your reasoning for not lynching the player with tits is "I like her". >_>

Waiting means more discussion. There are no deadline votes in this.

That said, I'm good with the Ashaya bandwagon. Let's just not end the day after 12 hours.

    Lynch Vote: Ashaya

I want to wait a day because Striker will end up slipping away otherwise? I just want one more day to see any more developments.

True enough, but I was kidding, have a little faith in me man.

Key phrase there was "another day". And yeah, no quickhammers please.

Also, Gambit, faith? In a Mafia game? Are you out of your mind? :p
