I'd be more than fine with switching my lynch to him at this point, just not sure we can get enough. Either way, court should put a noose around his neck overnight, or we can tomorrow. Whatever.

What is this I don't even? Once you make a post, even if you edit it, it becomes a matter of public record. Just like you can't take back what you say irl, you can't take back your words in mafia either.

I assume you're talking about the scumdigger scenario? If you are, then it's very, very, very unlikely that Ash is lying. Klackerz softclaimed an info role, saying that it would be very bad for town if bob99 was scum. He could have been lying or derping, but if he was telling the truth, then he was not the Acolyte (since the Priest can't be scum), and the fact that bob99 hasn't said anything overtly against Ash since she revealed suggests that he wasn't derping. If he was outright lying, then the real priest could still come forward. Geabe could have been the Acolyte, but if that were the case, then one of the NKed people would have to be the priest as well. And I refuse to believe that we're that unlucky.

 

Well, I agree with you that Castiel is scummy, especially with his latest post but I'm obviously going to protest my innocence. If you guys think I'm on the coven then maybe it would be good if I was checked, but I'm telling you now that it's pointless. Ashaya's check (and I'm relatively sure she's actually the priest now, given that scum would likely have fakeclaimed to support her by this point, also concluding that the Acolyte is dead) is free to go on who she wants it to, but at this point I'd suggest picking someone other than me or Castiel.

If my read on the Court is right, chances are one of us is going to be targeted tonight so it's a 50/50 chance of a wasted effort on Ashaya's part. As well as that, I'm almost certain that both of us would check as non-coven. Castiel because I have him pegged as a JW, and me because I'm not a Witch or Midget Witch. I'm going to read through the last day's posts again before I would recommend anyone, but be aware that this is just a suggestion. I'm wholly on the side of individual power roles using their own judgement on these calls.

 

Oh, and I almost forgot, my advisor roped me into TAing for a field trip this weekend, so I'll be gone Thursday afternoon through Sunday evening. If I have cell service, I'll try to get on with my phone at some point, but I have no idea if there will be service or how much free time I'll have.

At the game start Ashaya seemed pretty scummy, and I had no way of knowing is she was actually scum or town.

If I was a junior witch why would I rally so hard against someone who seemed very much like scum?

 

Because she 'was' playing like Obvious!Scum, and you'd have looked even worse if you didn't go hard after the easy target.

Firstly, it wouldn't be an abuse of power to show what you had originally written - that's something the players have a right to know.

Secondly, a lot of us subscribe to threads and get notification of new posts - notification which includes what was written.

So in short, you come across as butthurt over a triviality, a non-issue, while ignoring the real reason why people are gunning for you - it's not the fact that you edited so much as what you edited out.

 

Fair enough, I only edited it because I got the answer I was looking for and didnt see a reason to leave a question up that I had an answer for. Ill remember that for later games I do that I need to be specific and I guess if I edit something just make it out or something. Still not sure what a correct format would be for editing something. (will have to talk in private to someone who has more knowledge on that later.)

I actually liked his original question more than what he edited it to. In retrospect, it makes him 'slightly' more likely to be town in my eyes, ironically, as... why would scum edit a pro-town question into something scummier?

He has posted scummy as hell, yes, and he may very well be scum. I have zero problems attacking him hard tomorrow and forcing more content from him to examine.

But I have more certain scum I want dead dead dead. Like Castiel. And maybe you.

And as far as editing, just edit by way of a double post. The acronym EBWOP (edit by way of post) is common for that sort of thing, where outright editing is frowned upon.

 

Alright I got the idea for the most part now. Now that my college semester is over I am more focused on the game now, actually a lot of fun playing this despite the fact most are trying to kill me right now lol.

 

Castiel: Village Spies are a thing, and it looked like you were latching hard onto the guy most people think is Town in Eid.

Also Ash was acting scummy enough that you would have looked guilty as hell by association for defending her, and a certified White Knight besides.

I'm okay with both SL and Castiel dying, myself.

More seriously, I'd be okay with a lynch on Castiel too, my suspicions on bob99 are being revised (not dropped, at least not yet) in light of the information that Mishie was non-coven.

Mori, it is worth noting that it's possible Mishie could be a Junior- I personally though that if he was scum he was full Coven though.

 

I'm considering that too (hence why the suspicions aren't gone). I too thought that he was Coven though, which is why I was thrown for a loop by Ashaya's info.
