I'm going to push for a Castiel lynch, and I'm pretty annoyingly persistent at times, for better or worse.

StrikerLee is first up on the docket tomorrow, though. Going to blast him with both barrels and force content out of him like a fat man after a taco bell binge.

 

That post is full of fail. There's solid evidence that Ash's the priest. As was said before, there are only two people that a scum!gravedigger could check for having the acolyte role. Second of all, they would have to have to risk another coven player, the fake acolyte. Since the only people who would being getting the scum!gravedigger info would be coven. And they would be doing all of this for a player who is an admitted troll and worked to piss off the town in the first couple nights. Seems incredibly stupid.

So if you are scum, you are either coven or jw. If you are coven, you just accused two of your fellow coven members of being on a scum team. So I'd say I've got a really solid read on you that you are a JW. And that second half of your post was just angling for Ash to give you a town read. And the second half of your post was full of crap. Sure a town read might save you personally, but Ash announcing that you are town has nothing to do with proving her credibility. There is no public test that she would have had passed.

I don't really have a strong read on striker yet. Definitely seems like a derpy player though.

So I'm going to go with Castiel. I think he's a stronger lynch target than striker. I'd rather get a coven member, but Castiel seems to be certain JW. So if anyone has some really strong reads for coven members, I'd love to hear them.

And Ash, please don't waste a vote on Castiel. If I'm right he'll show up as town.

That game is the only reason I don't bet everything that Ash is scum. That is the only reason I think she might be town, because no matter what you can not be sure in Mafia.

I'm not voting for Castiel since Striker is still the most important target.

 

I'd put Castiel at 95% scum, and Striker at a little less than 50% scum. One has a much higher chance of simply being a derping town than the other, yet you call the less likely scum a more important target? You aren't a priest with a guilty check on Striker, obviously, so I don't think there's any role-based shenanigans possible to make you so convinced.

Striker was only a good option to lynch because his derps were distracting, and there weren't any better alternatives - that is no longer the case. I'm fine with questioning and potentially lynching Striker tomorrow, but your insistence we kill him is starting to be a tad suspicious, in all honesty. He's a very easy target for scum to latch onto, especially when one of their own is on the line.

Up until his last few posts I had a town read on Castiel, but lately he's been seeming scummy. I didn't like his pointing towards a previous game that has no relevance to this one, it makes me think he has no defence in this one so he needs to rely on meta, which shouldn't be the case.

Wow. Catching up with the thread was brutal. What a load of fail in the last few pages. I'll struggle to go back and reread them later on.

I have to admit that both Castiel and StrikerLee feel like town to me now, while Ashaya still feels like rotten scum. The latter is an almost certain wrong read, though, considering how unlikely it is for her role-reveal to be fake, at this point. Putting my paranoia aside (which suggests Ash, mishie, thebrute7 and Kai are scum, although of different groups), I'm left with very little, unfortunately.

Moridin is my best bet for elder witch, now, but it's useless to vote for him at the moment.

As for the two main lynch-targets, I think Castiel is perfectly in character now, while he was more suspiciously OoC when he pretty much lurked at the start of the game. Even his scummy "Check me!" post seems like holier-than-thou-townie + retarded/crazy-planner!Castiel.

StrikerLee is simply too scummy to be scum. He would have to have retarded buddies if they thought that doctoring and proof-reading his posts mid-game to such an extent was a sane thing to do. This all adds to my view of him as derping town, as a player who simply doesn't know what looks scummy to the other players and why and how to avoid it.

We still have 24 hours, so I'll be back with a meaningful vote later on. In the meantime,

I'm interested to hear from Sesc and Sirion, both are still at a no-lynch, to me that seems a little out there because you would think they would want someone to die so judge cant just kill someone off. A little scummy to let it sit there with less then 20 hours left.

But seriously, my vote has been on Strikerlee since Ashaya role revealed. I just didn't want scum hijacking the vote and ending the day early before adequate discussion has been had. It's near to the end of day now and we're still four votes away from lynching him so I figured it'd not do any damage to put my vote back on, for in case I miss the deadline or something.

That said, I did say earlier that I'd be behind a Castiel lynch and he's posted scummier (but not derpier) than Strikerlee, so I'll be changing my vote to him.

Also, let me point out that tons of people have voted without posting in thread. I'm not in the minority here.

For those of you who didn't like Castiel saying "Check me and you will see that I'm innocent" StrikerLee did the same thing. So if you are going after one of them for that, then go after the other too.

I do agree that people asking for being checked is not a smart way to play. I don't like people asking to be checked if they know that they are town, because that really is wasting a check which could go a different way. If you really are town then try to prove it differently in way that would benefit town more than doing harm. And seeing that in this game there are Junior witches who come back innocent it really does look even more scummy.

What I think would be ideal is that one of them is lynched and the other Court killed. Because at this point it really is very much a tie between them and this may very well be the 2nd day that StrikerLee gets by having the 2nd most votes.

I feel really good that we would get at least one witch/junior in this scenario.

At the end I would mention that Platypus still hasn't posted since that 1 post and it will soon be end of day 3.
