Just had an awesome game with Graves. WiseTomato was mid as Vlad and CB was support shen with me at bot. I scored a couple of early kills, farmed more than the opposing Caitlyn and just...well, carried the game.

Sometimes you just get outplayed, sometimes you get camped, sometimes you just have an off game.
I wouldn't judge on one game. If they aren't willing to take advice though...

Everyone has bad games, this is simply a fact. Refusing to play with someone over one is stupid, if they do the same over multiple games/talk shit/ignore advice etc. etc. etc. then fine dont play with them any more but over a single game is ridiculous.

 

Hell I got my ass handed to me that one Dominion game we played with Shez. Wasn't so much me, as it was the goddamned Cho and Kog wandering around and doing fuck all while we were getting raped so I kept getting caught 4v1 trying to defend our points, but I still went like 3-15-5 =( Then the SR game I was Xerath with goddamned Ahri, Warwick and I forget the other one tower diving at level 1-endgame. Annoying as shit.

 

Ugh god that was just a brutal match all around. Ive been trying to practice my Xin though to make up for it and Im getting better at it I think. Like I said 15 kills, 2 deaths .

 

Okay guys, honestly.

More people reaching level 30 who don't have the skill to back it up.

So here's the breakdown. I get invited to a 3's game with a friend of mine, against some people that she knows. The teams were Teemo, Shyvana, Fiora (me); versus Yorick, Graves, and Akali. Now, not only did the other team not change champions in champ select once I picked Fiora, the Yorick proceeded to bitch about Fiora every single time I killed him.

The most common complaint was that her ult is "broken". I called bullshit and attempted to explain to him how easily her ult is countered. Hell, I felt like being nice so I suggested that they all get thornmail. Merc treads is a staple in my Fiora build so their Thornmail did all of jackshit to me, but that's besides the point.

This went on for the entirety of the game after I got my ult. Every time I killed him, Yorick would bitch. Hell, he started saying that her ult makes her invulnerable. I tried explaining, twice, that it makes her untargetable, and that AoEs and Thornmail destroy any Fiora who isn't built to negate that damage.

Apparently he refused to listen. He excused how shitty he was doing by saying that he was unfamiliar with Yorick, which is a bullshit excuse. If you're unfamiliar with a champion and decide to try them out, I'd suggest taking it to a bot game unless you're absolutely sure that you'll at least do decently.

Yorick was the level 30, by the way.

 

I was probably one of those lvl 30's who didn't deserve it for the first month I was 30. I got to level 30 by playing Teemo/Trist/Garen for just about everything and raping just about everytime I was Teemo.

Then I hit lvl 30.

All of the sudden everyone knows how to counter Teemo, and not only do I lose games, but I fed soooo bad. After the fourth or third game of being raped by a Gangplank or a Xin I finally started trawling threads to find out whether there was something wrong with my gameplay and eventually fixed most of my noobish mistakes (read: it took me 50-60 games to go from epic fail to decent). From there I branched out and learned more than 4 champs, though admittedly I own about 50 and only play 10.

 

I just had a really odd thought. I kind of want to see a Master Yi alpha strike a Fiora that's uses her ult at the same time. In other words, will Alpha Stike catch up to Blade Waltz, or will Yi become untargetable (or actually invulnerable in Yi's case) as well

Sion vs Yorick solo top

Hi, I'm new to DLP (i learned about it from a friend, Fenraellis) and I am wondering, Yorick is supposed to be one of the best solo tops in the game right? i was playing a game and went solo top while we had a Master Yi jungle and i was against a Sion solo top. I started out with my mana regen and 2 health pots as usual and Sion started vampiric scepter. i was harassing Sion as much as i could and denying him farm and getting some good farm myself, then sion gets just enough for a zeal and starts farming like crazy and their WW starts ganking me with his flash ult and Sion stun. One of my teammates blamed me, the solo top, for letting Sion free farm when the whole time im harassing him as much as i can. when i tried explaining this to my teammate he wouldnt listen. Do you guys think i did all i could to stop sion? in my opinion i couldnt do anything, after sion got zeal with a vamp scepter and his ult my harass would just be healed up and i couldnt do anything and actually lost farm due to excessively harassing him. (spoiler, we lost game due to "fed" and "free farmed" Sion) and i only died to sion twice.
