Wish there'd been a (relatively normal) 30 year old who said that to me 7/8 years ago.

 

Gen 1 is still the best, 2-3 are still fairly strong, 4 has grown on me since I originally played it, and 5 has very few that are appreciable, let alone comparable. And yet I'll probably end up saying 5 also looks alright after another year or two to get used to it, as I more or less despised gen 4 when I first started dealing with it.

Seriously? Order it online and ship to house, play it in secret thereafter if you're ashamed of playing Pokemon around any friends/family.

I'm going to keep on buying until I'm sixty- can't let those snotty brats with the 26th generation defile the latest appearance of Red and/or Kanto.

 

Nah, not ashamed. I just weaned myself off it when I was younger (11-12ish) so I could be 'mature' and now I simply can't work up the effort to back into it. Though I do get occasional bouts of nostalgia.

Usually when I visit this thread. I should stop that.

Heart Gold/Soul Silver. Remakes of the 2nd Gen. They got worse after those two, imo.
