This. Lutris' actions (or rather, inaction) feels more like genuine afk rather than deliberate lurking. I can't help but feel that he would have stepped up to defend himself...

    Then again, that in itself could be a scum tactic - he might not be able to say much to defend himself, but staying absent means we would be likelier to go down the line of reasoning above. Wine wine wine ;_;

I'll be here before day end, so not putting a vote in just yet.

People need to start voting. 15 hours until the deadline is not the time to say "LOL i'm not going to vote because voting will somehow kill babies in Africa." I Just don't understand people who refuse to vote, there is nothing wrong with double clicking a name on moscone! It doesn't really inconvenience anyone, i think. It doesn't even matter who, just whoever you think is suspicious. And if you're going "to be around before the deadline" anyway, you can just change it then. But at least throw your vote down, its completely and utterly useless when not being used.

and again... 16 hours, people. 4-8 of which people are sleeping for. And with that, goodnight.

All right, I'll lynch vote Moridin.

I honestly don't get all this bullshit about Klackerz, mishie, and I being on a scum team. It seemed like you were just trying to manufacture a lynch target. You wrote a long detailed post, but it was just filled with conjecture wild leaps of logic. I could see scum trying to do this to manufacture a scum read and get another lynch target later on in the game.

Honestly, the reason that I haven't put you up before is that I had a lot stronger scum and derp reads. I was getting a strong derp read from Ash, and later a strong scum read from castiel. I really can't say what my read on you is, but it is on the scum side of null. There was that crap in the post I linked too, and I haven't really decided whether that has colored my reading of the rest of your posts. But I really don't have any strong lynch targets right now, so I'll vote for you to hopefully get some pressure on you.

So Lutris has the most votes, and I don't want to lynch him. Other candidates are Menace (who I have my vote on), CheddarTrek (not adverse to this, if other people will also switch to her), Moridin, and Sirion.

I guess I can switch to Lutris at day end if need be, but I really don't feel comfortable with it. Anyone want to vote for Menace or CheddarTrek? Anyone have any reasons they don't want to?

Frankly, I'm more comfortable with the Lutris lynch than any of the others. I don't have a scumread on CheddarTrek or Sirion - I'd say that CheddarTrek is relatively townish. I have a null read on Menace, while Lutris is either afk or turbolurking, so...

Why is StrikerLee no longer an issue at all, by the way? And not for the stupid edit, but for the way he played before something happened. Just to make a point: Vote StrikerLee.

Otherwise, I'm with Ashaya's reasoning, so my vote goes to Menace before Lutris.

    Upon further review.

I am less certain that Lutris is scum, but more certain that him dying isn't necessarily a bad thing! And no, I don't wish to clarify.

Also, please do not hammer the lynch before I make a statement in roughly 12 hours! It is relatively critical and involves things happening tonight! I would like us to get it closer, though.

    Lynch: Lutris

I won't hammer it Eido, but I'll swap my vote over to Lutris if we get really close on the timer and no one else appears to be jumping up to do it. Will wait for you to make a statement though, so long as that's remotely feasible.

You know, every time I read "I'll make a post in X hours", I keep thinking that the reason is there still is need for clarifying stuff in a shared qt

    It could be sometimes, sure.

But in this case, it's more the fact that it's the end of the day at that time, and I have a work meeting to head out to... now. I'll be home in probably 7-8 hours, and will say what needs to be said at that time!

Just, we probably need more votes on Lutris, but not so many that we threaten to hammer him too soon before day end. Because of the things I wish to say.

    It's relatively straight forwards.

    Soooo, Dead thread is dead.

Just because we aren't hammering the lynch yet doesn't mean we can't have some discussion. There's what, three people who haven't posted all day? Let's hear from you lungs, you seem to have vanished from this game. Lutris, are you even going to try and defend yourself? According to your profile you've been on DLP today so there's really no excuse for not posting.

Does anyone have any suggestions for who Ash could possibly check, even if she doesn't tell us who she's checking we can still offer some suggestions.

Also we need to make sure that we have enough votes to hammer a lynch, at the moment Lutris still needs another four votes and there's only just over four hours left, we can't afford to wait too long.

    Also NEED MOAR REPLACEMENTS.

Well, I would like to know about Sirion or Menace or Lungs the most. More so Lungs or Sirion. I am going to go ahead and Lynch Vote: Lutris just to be sure we don't have a no lynch, but he'll only have 9/12 votes, so people will need to step up after Eid's readwall later..

I'm going out for supper tonight (leaving in about an hour and will still be gone when the day ends most likely), so I'm going to go ahead and drop my vote on Lutris too so we don't end up with a no lynch.

That should put us up to 10/12.

There is exactly one player Ashaya should check. And if she has thought about how this game developed even a little, she knows who that is. I'm kinda surprised she hasn't yet. You always want to make sure to cover your bases. This hasn't happened yet in one very specific instance.

I have to do some school stuff, but I'll be on at 8 PM PDT.

I'm willing to lynch Moridin or StrikerLee, but plenty of scummy people seem to be voting for Lu.

    I'll be on later.

Well, Sesc trying to get Ashaya to waste a check has forced my hand a little bit. I really hope you're a JW at this point, honestly, because the level of facepalm is hard to describe.

    The following needs to happen:

Angels, you are protecting Ashaya tonight. I know who is dead, and I know you guys aren't stupid enough to have actually protected her last night, when there is zero chance coven would risk targeting her. Or, y'know. Try to outwine them. I don't care. The fact is, I want the order stated that you're protecting her.

Martyr, make sure you have Ashaya as one of the targets set in Moscone that you would die to protect. You don't 'need' to have all 4 slots filled, and there may be another person or two you deem worth the tradeoff as well. Since, if they're attacking that person instead of Ashaya, it's still an extra night of checks for her. Remember - it confirms you as town when you trigger, and gives us information about all interactions with you!

So, no matter what, this should buy Ashaya two more nights of checks at a minimum, unless, of course, the Martyr is scum. We also have the Moonlight Pagan, which could choose to activate, and potentially give Ashaya (or myself, if coven go that route!) an extra life at some point. Choose your timing wisely.

Now, as for the reason you should not waste a check on me.

    I am mechanically confirmable town!

I am going to state the following statement:

I am either the bishop, or one of the two lovers.

If I am the bishop: the nun, the lovers, or the cupid are not going to reveal - yet! After I give my results when we drop to 15 players remaining, then my nun will confirm that I am, indeed, the bishop.

If I am a lover: the real bishop and nun should not reveal - my other lover will not reveal, nor should the cupid confirm that I am a lover! Until after 15 players remain (or the Coven bounce a kill off me, in which case it will be obvious!)

It comes down to this: If the town doesn't believe me, that's fine! But it just involves leaving me alive a few more days until I can mechanically confirm that I am town. I acknowledge that in a world that my nun dies by time 15 people remain, that I am probably going to get lynched, but inquisitor can check me as holy if they so desire, as backup!

If the coven doesn't believe me, that's fine too! I've basically been jumping up and down and screaming KILL ME, KILL ME this game anyways, so it's not like I can paint a larger target on my chest. And plus, I sort of want the coven to target me right now.

    Come at me, bros.

    The wine is delicious.

Now, it's time to kill Lutris. I can reveal my reasons, I suppose.

I think he wants to die. There are very few roles that actively 'want' to die, but a cursory look over the role list should clue people in!

Things add up: Power role hint on day one, complaining about never living past first few days. Knowing that the game is happening, and not responding to lynch pressure - if he were scum, his buddies, at the very least, would have begged for him to be replaced, or at least chime in with a 'sorry bros, been busy, I'll chime in tomorrow when I can', which would have certainly let me lead a lynch on someone I felt scummier. Like Cheddar, Kalas, Moridin, Sesc, Aekiel, Menace, whatever.

Plus, we need to make the lynch happen no matter what in case of scum judge. Since, lynches go through lover protection, and could kill the priest without any angel protection.

So, yeah. Time to hammer Lutris.

    It's showtime.

    This. Can't agree more.

    Aaaand now you've lost me.

These are all of Ashaya's posts where she lays out her suspicion of me. The first post her only explanation for lynch voting me was that she thought I was scummy. Immediately after that she even admitted that it was nothing concrete to go on.

Second post she urged people to vote for me over Lutris for no apparent reason at all. When I called her out on this, pointing out how she said she was suspicious of people voting for Lutris and yet voted for me anyway, her response was that I was scummier to her. She still hasn't responded to my request for an in-depth explanation.

There isn't any reasoning to agree with.

Also, I'm gonna have to agree with Jwlk here, on both accounts. It's useless not to lynch vote if you're going to be by to change it before day's end anyway. And Gambit, I'm seriously hoping that you just made a mistake in calculating the times or some such, because if not I'm probably gonna lynch vote you tomorrow as well.

So yeah. Get your votes in people- we're so close!
