    Trailer.

Seems like a film for us writers. I'm sure that at least Joe dreams every night about that happening with his Tessa. ;)

Looks light hearted, the trailer made me smile. I'd go see it.

This looks really amazing, any word on when it'll be hitting theaters?

They've had to sex up the press pack a little to find distribution, so the trailer's a little flashier than it might have been, but the premise and directors alone mean this is one of the few films approaching (this Summer, I think, Gambit) I'm truly looking forward to.

Cast's cracking, too. It's a sprint distribution, though, and I hope Fox makes an effort getting people into theatres.

Interesting. Possibly not a must see (especially since there's fuck all chance of it getting to a cinema near me), but I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Interesting idea, reminds me of a film from a couple of years ago where the author was writing the life of someone in the real world who then starts seeking her out as can hear her as she types his life out, but the only cast member I can remember is Dustin Hoffman as her psych friend.

... Didn't see Mr Banderas in that trailer at all but looks like a nice no-brainer to sit down & watch.

It's Stranger Than Fiction with Will Ferrell as the main character.

And this film release date in USA is 25 July, though I'm not sure in how many cinemas.

Stranger than Fiction was a nice movie. I liked it.

This looks cool and I'll catch it if it comes here.

Trailer had me hooked. Some great marketing team there if it makes me want to see a rom-com.

This looks very promising. I'm a fan of Paul Dano, too, so I'm glad he's in it. I'll probably see this in theaters.

I drink copious amounts of scotch/beer/cider every night to ensure this doesn't happen.

    Infinite sadness, bro.

Still, this looks awesome. I was instantly put off by the fact he uses a typewriter--because, honestly, is that more than a touch cliche?

But I'll allow it. Hell, come to think of it, the protagonist in my novel does the same.

    Looking forward to this one!

Eh, this this nice at best and mildly boring at worst. I'll probably watch this with my commune, seems like a movie just about anyone would enjoy.

He might be living on a Kibbutzim.

Don't worry Seratin, there's still time to join and not suffer a finite imprisonment in hell. ;)

So I finally watched it. And it was pretty much as good as you could expect after watching the trailer. Probably a little better. I would even call it inspiring on some level, which is not something you can say about a lot of movies.

I also have a new favorite word - mindcest. :)

    Lutris showed me the trailer, and it looked godawful. Is it as mushy as it looks? D;

Watched this a few nights ago, or was it last weekend? pretty decent, forgot we had a thread for it though. I probably won't watch it again, but it's not that it's bad, just that I didn't like it quite enough.

Not as mushy as it looks Drome, except in parts, a couple parts are sorta mushy, but not as mushy as it looks.

Amazingly well done movie. Mushy parts? Yes. There's parts that are downright chilling, though.

But it's a lot more about fantasy vs. real life, and the difference between a real and imagined person. 5/5. See this movie.
