even if it is 'infiltrated', it's hard to argue with 'kill the confirmed witch'.

I'm surprised Striker didn't include Ash in his top town reads along with myself and Thebrute. That'd complete the collection of effective townfirms!

    Bluh.

Today sucked balls, tons of work + hangover = suck.

I'll have more free time tomorrow.

And Kalas trying to pretend he crafted those read walls so well, and surely didn't hint at any scumbuddies in them is kind of funny.

    Kalas, Moridin, Ollie, LochNess coven?

Castiel, Jwlk, Sirion, BillDoor, Sesc JW?

Just naming names a little bit right now. We'll find out soon, when my power may or may not activate!

*Fake Edit Because I refreshed* I'd rather lynch Kalas, actually. Can still pressure folks, and let the court get ideas, but it eliminates the possibility of Pauper or Recluse/Gambler, whatever that is tonight. Lynch goes through both cleanly.

I'm reading that as Pauper would join on lynch or DoB killdeath not just standard night kill.

I think its somewhat suspicious that Kalas is so supportive of this idea. I don't like it. Let's just lynch him in a few days after people in the court have gotten better reads.

Ok, I'm sure I'm town, and I'm sure a couple other people at least are just as sure as I am. jwlk could totally be not!scum, I don't think he's scum just because of him targeting me, I did that in SW1 with Minion, I thought he was scum since he pushed for town!me to get lynched... he was the Imperial Governor. but jwlk is too aggressive to be town imo.

This is meta, and Shitty!Meta at that, but he's rarely this hell-bent on anything when he plays as a townie.

I, for one, support the Gambit Lynch train. I think it shows great promise.

Wow dude seriously? I can't believe I have to keep defending myself from bad arguments.
What are you calling a quick lynch? I never said lets kill him as fast a possible, at start I even gave you chance to explain yourself. And please check your facts. I never mentioned that I wanted to kill you, because you edited. My reasoning came from before it- your posting style and not wanting to be read from anybody.
If you were not semi-confirmed town I may very well still be trying to lynch you. Part of me even still wants. At the start you posted derpery, then when you were called out you started posting better and now when you are considered town you again start posting derpy.

Just looking at your town reads , if you consider Ash town, then brute is as well and Eido is like the safest option, because everyone picks him.
So you say that you think Lungs was town. Assuming Court killed Lungs 2 nights in a row, where do you think your read went differently from theirs?

    About the Kalas situation.
I don't know. I can see good points going both ways. But something that may be considered- what if Kalas is the last Witch? I think it is possible. I think we have lynched 1 witch at least, maybe 2(because of Vig situation). Assuming court have maybe killed 1(Lungs), then if Kalas doesn't reach the night, then there would be no night kill and Juniors would join faster so that Bishop can find them.

I'd have to agree with guljons here, I think lynching Kalas now is the best solution. Perhaps we should pressure the other scummy players with the threat of a court kill, but we should definitely lynch Kalas. Also, what Eid said applies. Either way, Kalas surviving the night through whatever means would be bad, since we'd then have to either put him to another lynch or a court kill while getting dangerously close to the Bishop's deadline.

Forgot to add Vote Lynch: Kalas, did that a while back.

And can we get some more people in here? Weigh in on Kai's idea. Pros, cons, likely scenarios... we need discussion, not a last minute discovery that we aren't lynching Kalas and don't have a replacement.

Relaaaax yourself Moridin you've got well over two days to find yourself a non-Kalas lynch target.

While it's a good idea in theory, there are too many things that can go wrong with this strategy. Basically, there are multiple roles that have the capability to survive a NK, while anything that will allow a lynch survival will also prevent a NK (i.e. Fanatic). Though if Castiel wasn't lying about his role, then Kalas can't be the Recluse and could still die to a NK tonight. If he's the Fanatic though, he'd survive the night and we'd have to lynch him again on Day 6. Lynching him today would take away his extra life, then the Court could finish him off overnight. We also can't discount the chance of a scum!Twilight Pagan skipping the Night Phase to keep Kalas alive.

By all means, we should continue discussing and should suss out some potential targets for the Court tonight, but lynching Kalas is a Thing that Must Happen.

Err. You say things, and then you state the conclusion, but there isn't really a connection there?

A scum twilight pagan blowing his ability would be a Good Thing, for one. We'd basically end up with an extra lynch.

Extremely unlikely wasted Court Kill because Recluse has already been claimed... which is a fact in favor of 'why not just court kill him'.

If he's the fanatic: lynch now, CK tonight, lynch someone else tomorrow. Alternatively, Lynch someone else, CK him tonight, lynch him tomorrow.

These are pretty much the same thing. Seriously.

The benefits of waiting to kill him are 'we get more information'. A good thing. One thing that hasn't been pointed out is the Gravedigger. We already know Kalas' team alignment. He's coven.
Whoever our next Lynch target is, which we will find by actually pressuring other people today instead of just ending, we don't have hard evidence either way.

Yes, he's not going to immediately reveal and say "look at all this info" but it's something that he'll know, adding extra information if we do eventually get to the reveal slot.

There really arn't that many NK protection effects in the game. The main one that coven can have is the Recluse or the Gambler and oh wait.
Scum can't be the lover. I'd be honestly surprised if a Martyr saved him because..well, yeah. That'd be dumb. And it can protect from lynches too, so moot point.

I'm pretty sure pauper works out the same either way - because he'd have access to his QT he could relay the information before getting killed again no matter what, Lynch or CK.

TL;DR: You get more information by just letting the court off him tonight, he's going to die no matter what. Don't reflex into WE MUST LYNCH THE WITCH RIGHT THIS INSTANT.

As an additional point: witches are going to auto-bus Kalas. No doubt. But, lynching someone else gives additional data to connect people with later.

We only need five more deaths before the bishop gets information. So if the bishop is still alive we will get a lot better info in a couple days. So might as well take out a known witch before then.

You miss one key point, Sirion. If we lynch him first, then Courtkill him (if he survives the lynch), we leave tomorrow's lynch open for if Ashaya spots another witch. If we delay lynching him today, there's also a chance of him having an active ability that can be used during the night. Hell, the only evidence we have that Kalas has an extra life (or is nightkill immune) is his own word, so I'd take it with a heavy pinch of salt that he's telling the truth.

Honestly, I'm pretty undecided. Both seems to have advantages and disadvantages, although I don't see the Ashaya point. It's not like we can't kill a witch any day we want, if she finds another one.

Not killing Kalas on the off chance that he's the Pauper and that the court isn't invaded isn't on the table, I presume?
