Well that was an interesting series of events for last night. I do believe scum has some control over the Court now since as you guys said the plan was to kill Kalas. If Eid was the King I think jwlk could of been on the Court and known he was king so easy way to kill him off. Going to hold of on voting till later on when it gets closer to hammering someone.

 

If I'm right (and I'm pretty sure I am) Eid was probably the only truly confirmable Town on the Court.

Which...makes me wonder about the people I think are currently on the Court.

 

Well that night wasn't very good. We definitely need to take out Kalas though.

 

The only possible reason I can see for the court killing Sesc is if he was a JW!Court member, and was going to reveal them. But I'd say that has about a one in a thousand chance of being the case.

I'll Lynch vote Kalas. That makes it six, so no one else should vote yet.

 

And here I was pushing for Aurion's death days ago. Such a shame.

 

Oh, side note: Kai + BillDoor are JW!Court.

Throwing Jwlk under the bus worked, but it revealed you pretty hard with him being the Dirty Old Bastard, KaiDASH. Manufactured attempt to get the Townfirm off the Court like whoa.

Calling it now, our lovely Witches' Court thinks Kalas is the Pauper and is pushing for us to lynch him because (as ChocoPi confirmed) he'll survive.

Note The Second: Sesc was either the Judge or the Cupid. Literally no other roles explain why he was so...very...fuckin'...passive. Unless he just decided to mail it in for whatever reason (and I don't think that's the case).

If he'd been one of the ones sounding the alarm about the possibility of a Scum!Judge I'd think he's the Cupid. But I'm not seein' it reading through his posts so I'm 50/50.

And he definitely wasn't on the court; there's basically nothing connecting him to the most obvious Court reads and my King pick (which, I reiterate, >95% sure about) was openly and blatantly sus of him.

I don't know. I'm worried about lynching Kalas because Eid was against it. And I was under the impression he was court. I could be wrong though Eid did deny it. So if Kalas was pauper, then Eid would know. But if he was pauper I think that he would be protected from a court kill. So in that case, Eid would have less reason to protect him from a lynch.

Hm, bob, I think I know what Eid was driving at with his idea; basically, Kalas eats a Court Kill last night and a Lynch today, thus getting a confirmed scumdeath even if he were the Pauper.

But then the Jwlk thing happened. And then Eid died. And then the Court went completely off the rails. These things are...well, I don't believe in coincidences.

There's waaaay too high a chance of Pauper!Kalas to feel anything like safe in lynching him- and as I pointed out, if he lives I don't get my info tonight since there'll be 16 people ticking still going in.

I already gave some reasoning, so let's restate: The King's Court went completely off the rails last night and killed someone Not Kalas (Sesc).

With me so far? This is strongest bullshit.

Then you pop up with your post about the Court somehow deciding to off a ~supposedly JW!Court Sesc~ despite it being fairly obvious to anyone actually paying attention that he actually wasn't in the Court.

If you aren't Court!JW trying to blatantly mislead what's left of the Town, I'll be fucking shocked.

 

1. Moridin: I was under the impression that JWs returned Town for all checks until they join the Coven. I get that jwlk was scum - he couldn't have been any more obvious about it - but his check should have returned either Town or Coven if I understand the rules correctly. So why say that his check returned Junior Witch? Unless I'm misunderstanding the way gravedigger checks work?

2. Aurion: I'm just going to ignore your ridiculous accusation. It sounds like a knee-jerk reaction to me hinting that you might be scum.

As Kai said, why rolereveal now, for no reason? You didn't seem to be in any danger of a kill from anyone, and the role you claimed is useless for at least another couple days. Moreover, why should we be lynching suspected JWs over the known EW when you have a chance to uncover them using your powers? You're either an idiot or scum, neither of which I like.

3. WHY THE FUCK IS NO ONE QUESTIONING THIS ROLE REVEAL? We now have two people who have claimed Bishop, one of whom is dead. Where is the fucking Nun? Alternatively, we need the Inquisitor to check him. Not listening to a word Aurion says until this happens.

4. Is fear of Kalas being the Pauper the only thing holding back those that don't want to lynch him at this point? Because the Court is already pretty obviously infiltrated and/or Coven controlled, so it's not like it would make a difference, and we have to kill him at some point.

When the sweet fuck did I say I thought Sesc was a member of the court? I suggested one ridiculously unlikely hypothetical explanation ("a one in a thousand chance" were the words I used) for what happened. I thought it was best to consider every possibility, no matter how remote and now you're trying to lynch me based on that one fucking sentence.

Oh, and I know I'm multiposting a lot, but why doesn't everyone take a gander at who is voting for Kalas despite the strong possibility he's the Pauper?

Okay, here's what I have for court:

Eidolonic - Very likely a holy role, more likely than not the King (again) since he pulled off his gambit and all the other holy roles are accounted for (I had Sesc pegged as Cupid).

Jwlk - Quite obvious really, given his fight against Eid. There was something missing in the argument that I couldn't place until I worked out that part of it must have been in a qt, and since Eid was probably the King, that would leave the Court.

Geabe - It's unfortunate, but I think we killed off the town!Duke on the first day. His first day posts were informative, and he mentioned being sure that KaiDASH was town, which leads on to...

KaiDASH - Scum Queen extraordinaire. If Kai isn't scum in this game, I'll be very surprised. He's posted a lot, but there hasn't been nearly the amount of attention grabbing stuff his other games have shown. He's also one of the first people to demand more information for town whenever he plays, yet he's been suspiciously silent on the issue this time around. Geabe and him being chummy on the first day I originally put down to scum being scum, but I think they were the two first members of the Court as well. It would explain especially why he never seemed to butt heads with Eid, which I was genuinely surprised by when I noticed it.

Bill Door - Most eloquently explained by Aurion above me.

Uncle Stojil - Killed because he was on the Court. How freaking obvious could it bloody well get that there were scum on the court after his death? Seriously, Eid, if you ever become King again, just do us all a favour and abdicate. Your judgement on who to put in your Court is horrendous in the extreme.

I'm not sure on who the last member of the Court would be, or the Duke's replacement, but I'd hazard a guess at Lungs or CheddarTrek being a member, and possibly a lurker like Lutris.
