Also, if we purposefully lynch a townie today I would get a kill tonight, so I could kill Kalas and we'd be able to lynch him tomorrow. It would also put Aurion's ability going off for a day, though we'd be relying on the Moonlight Pagan being alive to keep him going through the next night and I'm not sure he's around to help out. In which case we'd be relying on the Angels alone, which is a risky prospect at best.

Okay, new plan. We kill off the Court. If CheddarTrek comes back and says she isn't on the Court, I'd say we hit it and limit the damage scum can do to one kill per night.

My choice at this point would be Bill Door. He has been extremely defensive ever since he was fingered as scum, and I think he's on the Court. Plus the rest of the stuff Aurion posted.

 

Well, I had been fairly certain Eid was King for most of the game, which made the Bishop/Lover ploy pretty much a stroke of genius. At this point, I am perfectly willing to believe that Aurion is the Bishop.

Kalas... could very well be the Pauper, so perhaps, rather than lynching him, we should lynch Bill Door or Kaidash. If we eliminate the Court (by reducing them to 2 members, at which point they disband), and since we already think they are most likely witch-controlled, we can then lynch Kalas without any fear of his possible Pauper!ability triggering.

So, to that end Lynch: Bill Door. For now.

Or, you know we could take a risk and lynch Kalas anyway, that's also an option.

I just don't read his posts. He can't mislead you if you don't listen to anything he says.

1) Lynching a town still triggers the bishop ability, as long as it's successful. You could then kill Kalas, assuming everything revealed people have said is true*.

To be honest, until your more recent posts I thought you were just hedging with "man it would really suck if Kalas were scum!pauper tonight" which is true. 1 in 16 though.

Lynching a town to off Kalas is an okay way to work this out, it is true. Pretty big sacrifice at this point, though, so I'd be wary of it until we can look at some of the outcomes later.

For one, we have to consider the possibility that the Court managed to hit one Elder Witch already, meaning Kalas is the last scum. This is actually something I failed to consider yesterday, which I'm kind of kicking myself over, especially given the way Jwlk worked out. Finishing Kalas off would give a night of reprieve from witch kills, and then bring in the spies as well.. which you want to happen ASAP.

Less chance the spies are alive the longer this goes on - which is another risk of trying to pick a town to sacrifice.

I'm kind of train-of-thoughting here, so I'm going to break and see what people think so far.

Re: BillDoor. Aurion, wow, that's an overreaction to the slighest of comments. I mean, I hedge myself like that all the time. Like calling Aekiel's reveal not 100% town because I think he could make that play in a VERY RARE situation. He said one in a thousand, bro.

KaiDash. Hmmmm. I'm going to look more at how the jwlk thing broke, because that turned out to be extremely advantageous for the scum imo, especially with the way the body count broke.

As for the court? Wtf. I mean, it starts with 7 and has a Duke replace? How many of them could be dead by now? I know I'd always reveal if we thought scum was picking us off because of one among us. I had a few court reads that got popped?

Scum!court seems more likely than any situation where Sesc is a more valuable kill than Kalas... I'm struggling here, really. The only thing that pops into my head is a HUGE mistep by Sesc, dropping a 100% scumtell of some kind in court chat and the rest of them jumping on it?

Also Aurion, is there a reason you don't want the bishop check to mean anything? Because if I get lynched today then it will take place before the JW join the coven, assuming they don't do it until all the elders are dead.

And Sirion, not really. You hedging comments like that isn't really good play to begin with. Add that to the fact that Bill is a strong Court read and you have a massive bullshit situation.

If I had to wager, I'd say Bill or Kai is Queen. Higher chance of Bill because I can't really see Eidolonic actually picking Bill (and again, Mori legit means Geabe Duke)- while I can see Eid getting Kai.

Looking at the numbers, I made an oopsie. There's no way we can actually have a meaningful Bishop check at this point, unless there are other Coven still alive apart from Kalas. It requires two nights of no Coven kills to activate the JWs, and the Bishop ability activates the first night we have 15 or fewer players alive. Since we're sitting at 16 right now with at least 1 Coven member alive, there's not much of a chance.
