Hey guys. Sorry I haven't posted before this, real life and stuff. :/

Anyways, I'll answer Eido's questions based on what I've seen in this thread so far:

    - Not completely sure who I'll protect, but tbh, I'll go for anyone except Ash and Eido, because...

    - they are the most active right now, and if I had to check someone, it'd be either Ash or Eido. Eido more than Ash, since I've seen Ash play, and her behaviour doesn't necessary mean scum, even though she seems to be pretty scummy at times. So yeah. Eidolonic.

    - If I had to take down someone while dying, I agree with Custer, Taure would be the one person I'll take with me. This might count as meta-gaming, but Taure is usually pretty scummy, and even when he's not, he mostly follows other bandwagons, staying politically correct the whole time.

That said, WoooooooOOOT, NEW GAME!!! :D

didn't auto, anyways I'm sorry i seem scummy while being town. I'll be pissed if I die day one, but I feel like you're really gunning for me since I look easy to build a bandwagon on.

Well. There's no judge. And the information gained from lynches is more valuable than not lynching - especially considering there's still a roughly 25% chance to hit scum when lynching completely randomly. If I was certain that you were town, I'd try to push elsewhere, or no lynch, but... I'd put you in the 30-35% chance to be scum range. Those aren't great odds, but they're still better than random.

If you genuinely think there's a superior target, make a real case against them. But I just don't see a better option than you right now. The only other real target presented was because she lurked in previous games. It's not exactly compelling.

There is also some interesting information to be gained from your flip (how you reveal once dead).

Your first post was Roleplay (which has zero part in this lynch, I promise. I didn't mind it at all, as long as you still posted some other stuff - which you did. You also said that your protection target would be Riley. Which. I found extremely interesting! Because when looking at the playerlist, and trying to consider who the scum would like to remove from the player pool... Riley is not exactly a name I considered. So, if you flip scum, the next lynch is going down Riley's throat. If you are town, then it's a null read on him. If you are scum, it also probably townfirms Jeram, as I don't think you'd include a scumbuddy in your 'kill' section.

Your second post is just proclaiming that the probe can check you, but it'd be a waste. Standard response from anyone, probably doesn't mean anything. You 'could' be the godfather type role, admittedly. But I didn't really have a problem with the post other than slight over-defensiveness.

Your third post, I'm going to quote:

He had no previous votes on him, he made a reasonable response to the question I asked, and he gave a RL reason for not being around much - yet still posted more content than over half of the game had, at the time of your vote. Voting to remove a legitimately strong player with no reason to do so is mind boggling.

Your fourth vote, you quickly removed your vote, and then typed this gem:

You panicked at just a couple votes, and tried to push us away onto targets that haven't posted much. I do agree that they need to post, and are easy targets... but if you flip scum, they're probably town! More information.

And then your last vote was trying to turn it around on me, accusing of starting the 'easy bandwagon' on you. Yes, you are an easy lynch even when you're town, and I'd prefer to leave you alone, if there are better targets. But even after re-reading the thread twice, there's not a single post that has seemed as scummy as multiple ones that you have posted have.

Sorry, dude. I at least tried to explain the case against you, so you can see exactly what looked so bad, and why. I understand that you 'are' trying, but if you're town, you just didn't... think before you posted.

That was a lot longer than I wanted it to be, heh. I just felt bad because Ollie was so obviously looking forwards to this game, and wanted to actually explain the case against him rather than make him feel like it was just me/others being douchebags.

I kid. Really though, you're pretty much the only choice at this point. As Eido said, you're the only one out of everyone that has posted anything remotely derpy, so it's either you or a lurker and most people prefer to lynch the actively scummy.

I don't really like that, but we are short on time.

I'm vanilla so it's no major loss but it's still worse than a no lynch. I chose stojil because we have fuck all, and I suggested other people because I wanted to see if you guys had any thoughts on them as well. We just don't have anything concrete yet but I get the DLP always goes for a lynch every day, and I'm part of that, but it sort of seems stupid. I'd rather eat the first NK than get lynched for being a scummy poster.

    I always post scummy :p .

Ok, I wake up and we're already four pages in. Woo.

I am always adverse to Day 1 lynches, the logic behind this being that unless someone seriously slips, we have fuckall clues to make a serious choice. And I hate meta-gaming (because I've only played in three other games, and rarely remember people's playstyles).
Ollie says he's vanilla though, so I suppose lynching him is not too much of a problem that early on. And if he is Town, then I'd go after Eido next.

I actually rescinded my vote Zeit, and Rep, I don't hold you voting for my lynch against you at all, especially if you don't trust Eido after this. Whether he is a Rebel or Imperial, he's definitely over-aggressive in the lynching and targeting.

    Vote Player: Eidolonic

I'll feel bad if you're a rebel, but I'll feel worse if you're Imperial and we don't kill you early.

Well so far Ollie is just being Ollie, from what I can tell this is him pretty much every game. However that doesn't mean he's not scum. And at this point, if you are town then I don't think that you're a power role.

So Vote Player: Gambit because at this point I think the info gained from a lynch will be helpful, and yo're both the most suspicious and the most likely to go through.

To be honest, there's not much reason to pick any one person over any other person at this stage.

For this reason, we might as well take down Ollie, on the general principle of wanting a first day successful lynch.

    So:

All that does is give the Imperials one less kill they have to pull themselves, speeding up the loss of the town.

One more vote to go, just under two hours to go.

By the way, everybody has made their posting quotas (at least one non-voting post per day), but not everybody has posted in their QTs yet. Please, do post in your QTs to confirm that you've received the PM. At the very least, QTs are useful as process diaries, so I don't really see a reason why not. >_>
