meh, am not too happy about the new season. The episode in prison was entertaining but the second one just felt awkward. I am getting a bit sick of Foreman always being House's superior when he comes back from shit like this. It got old the last time it happened.

Am not too enthusiastic about the new chick, and House' overall new situation. Am curious what happened to Chase and 13. And even though I really dislike Taub, I also want to know what happened with the women he got pregnant.

 

I like that asian girl less and less. Glad that 13 was back and I hope that she will stick around, regardless of the outcome of the episode. The drama she faced this episode felt contrived as well.

Like the other female doctor from prison, at the very least, she's pretty. Don't know why they dumbed her down in this episode but it seems to be a recurring theme in House that qualified doctors are more capable when they are not working with House or in his team.

Season is still subpar

 

Agreed. I know her character's supposed to be all timid and shit, but she cannot act. Even when she's not prattling off obscure diagnoses, I can't hear half her lines. I already know an Asian girl who talks in perpetual whimper and it's annoying as hell.

I also miss the music for the opening credits.

Here's to hoping the rest of the team comes back to make things watchable.

 

Pretty much completely disagree, I like where the season is going at the moment and I think a change was definitely needed.

I like the asian girl as well, pretty sure I've seen her in something but can't remember what.

Heard somewhere that 13 is gone for good as well, will try to find a link. Can't stand the prison doctor even if she is hot, I loved how House and the asian girl manipulated her.

 

The asian girl is annoying beyond belief. But I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion...

 

I'm holding my breath. The whole thing with Wilson was nice, but house doesn't get a lot of his witty banter and without a team. My bet is two episodes or so and a team will show up.

 

Knocked Up is probably where you remember her from. She's the girlfriend of the guy who looks like Jesus.

 

So, this is it. 8th season is the last. To tell the truth I'm watching it only sporadically since 5th, but it's still sad to see it ending.

One missed opportunity though is that we have never seen Stephan Fry as Mycroft to House's Holmes as they were planning it early on. Or in any other role on this show really.

 

^ Well we got him as the real Mycroft in A Game of Shadows, so at least there's that.

I honestly think the show should have ended a couple years ago. At least it didn't become god-awful before it ended though. At least to my knowledge, I haven't been watching it lately.

 

It was time for it to end. It's been getting less interesting ever since the end of season 5. I haven't seen any of the new season, because the ending of the last just pissed me off so much.

 

I still liked it last season. Not this one.

 

I'm glad it seems to be ending on its own terms, and while this season hasn't been my favourite, it's still good TV to me - this week's episode, for one, was pretty damn great - and I'll be a little sad it's going. But in a happy kinda way, because unlike some of my other favourite shows that'll probably end up cancelled this year, House has run its course, and, well, that will be that.

 

The end is near....... I really enjoyed this last episode, while the series certainly stagnated over the past couple of season there were bright spots. From the two hour interpretation of cuckoos nest to House's prison stint I still enjoyed the series. With only a few episodes left there is bound to be some real character progression. Since we know this is the end the show has real drama and tension again, which makes House one of my favorite shows on Tv just before it ends .

 

I laughed my fucking ass off at the ending of tonight's episode.

 

That was so fucking amazing, my face hurts from laughing so much.

 

Yep, the end of the episode was brilliant.

Reminded me of House a few seasons ago. Really well done.

Edit: If you go through the scene slowly, there's one of House in a coconut bikini. I'm of a mind that Hugh Laurie insisted on this scene.

 

saw it just fine on normal speed lol, Last time I loved an episode this much it was the one where he starts partying hardcore after the split with Cuddy, and before that the last time I enjoyed House this much was probably before Kutner died.

There have been amazing episodes in between, but not on this level.

 

Yeah, Hugh Laurie directed this last episode as well. Probably why it was so awesome.

 

Liking the last few episodes.
Went looking for some fanfic. However, most of them can't seem to catch his acerbic tone, and humanize him far too early and far too much. Anybody know of any good ones?
