Except for the part where you should already be warding it so you know who is actually there for a fight instead of trying to steal it with 2-3 people and get 4-manned.

Spectator mode gives no information that you shouldn't already know by playing decently.

 

Tried 'exploiting' spectator mode with a buddy and it really isn't useful at all. At best you get a two minute warning for when jungle buffs respawn and exact timers on baron and dragon (which are already easy to time by using wards and timestamps). At worst you get three minute old information that distracts you in the middle of a team fight.

Chat seemed buggy for spectators too, I'd randomly be unable to type or receive messages.

A friend of mine that missed getting into a five-man last night, decided to spectate since he was bored, and kept calling things out in Skype like "Udyr is coming to gank bot!" "'So and so' is getting blue/red/dragon," and such things, that while it didn't really throw me off, supposedly threw bot lane off a few times at least.

If nothing else, it was kind of annoying for him to keep telling us three minute old information about potential ganks. About the only thing that he could have really told us that would have been useful, would have been if the enemy was consistently warding and re-warding certain locations, but he didn't even really do that.
They were warding quite a bit early-mid, but dropped off a bit late game, once it was apparently that my Akali and our Tryndamere could actually win us teamfights, despite bot, jungle and top all kind of losing for early-mid game. After that, it was just downhill for them, and we won several fights with fewer numbers, and pushed them back onto the defensive, until we ended up winning.

 

Champion update : AP Yi is goddamn hilarious. His meditate ratio is something like 4:1 or something equally ridiculous, so when I get to 447 ap I'm healing 2400 in 5 seconds with 300 MR and AR while I do it. Unless you have a hard stun, I'm going to tralala my way all they way through your attacks even with ignite.

The Q ratio is 1:1 too, so you're hitting 700s on multiple enemy team members every six seconds if you're building right (Read: maxing the fuck out of CDR, I recc Nashor's Tooth so you can still backdoor like crazy). Do remember that if you have Highlander activated, you get your Q and everything else back instantly when you kill an enemy champ, and have your cooldowns halved with assists. And with maxed CDR, your ult has a CD of 45ish seconds. It's like a Ghost that costs a little mana. That means you fucking destroy teams that are low. Just alpha strike upon alpha strike upon alpha strike.

I haven't built WotA yet with him, but I want to. If it works the way I think it will, it'll be like a minor Fiora ult every 6-NONE seconds. :awesome

I build boots and pots into Kage's and boots5, then get Nashors, before building situational (Void Staff-Deathcap if they're building MR, the reverse if not). I take Ghost and Flash for maximum escape and mobility - your job isn't to wade in and rape like AD Yi, but alpha strike, hop to the edges, wait for CD, then alpha strike again. If you get focused, W. Watch for enemies with low health and jump on them for an extra alpha strike right after.

So yeah. AP Yi. Try it for fun.

Someone was watching my AP Yi game apparently. It was glorious as I rolled a 2v5 and won vs Sion, Jax, Vayne, Kayle, and Nunu.

For that game, I give eternal gratitude to my Ashe, who ate all the stuns and burst for me.

I also see that Disaster tried AP Yi and got rolled.

 

They had a shitload of stun/silence and heal debuffing...

That and they were actually smart, building MRes.

And my team was retarded. They fed Olaf on bot early even though they had a hell of a poke comp to harass him from afar.

I basically shut nidalee down in mid.. but bottom got rolled, and fed Olaf. I was so angry.

 

How the hell does an Olaf get fed when he's bot laning?

Why the fuck is a Nidalee mid instead of top or bot?

God damn, what Elo are you all at to see this kind of enemy and have your allies get rolled by them?

 

My allies were retarded. Brand and our nidalee wouldn't stay away from olaf, instead they kept engaging him.

They had no true ap carry. She was the closest to an ap carry they had.

I wish someone had spectated my last game. I fucking ROLLED my enemy team. But anivia went 0/12, ashe lagged, and hecarim flat out left the game.

 

Your solo Q matches confound and hurt my brain in so many ways.

I can not comprehend how stupid most of the people at that Elo must be to have this shit happen consistently.

 

And yet, somehow, I maintain an even or better win/loss ratio.

Despite these shitty, shitty teammates.

 

You really should play faceroll champs until you break 40 games over losses. You stop getting retards every other game and it declines to about every 4th game.

The various matches I've spectated of DLP solo Q make me weep tears of frustration at the general stupidty level of their and enemy teams.

 

Is their something Im missing because I've seen like six Hecarim players take Ghost now and I was rather under the impression thats just about one of the most useless options possible for him.

 

More AD, move faster, lower CD.

He requires you sticking on to someone, and flash doesn't let you stick as well as ghost.

Also, you don't need to use Flash to E someone into your team since your ulti lets you reposition anyways.



I'm currently watching Tragic, TSN's, and Myst's trio. The teams, summoner choices, and item builds make me cringe in horror.

Not those three, but everyone else's. Like Jesus fuck, they're bad. Vegiar in mid has been exploded by enemy Vlad 4 times at this point. GP top with heal is stacking AD vs a Shen who's kicking his ass.

Yeah, I'm probably going to buy Vayne. She seems pretty faceroll at this Elo. considering I just started playing her late late last night, I'm doing pretty well.

 

Ahhh I see that makes sense, Im just a little pissed right now, I was having a fantastic match on Brand and my fucking game crashed right in the middle >.<.

Ahri, Vayne, Tristana, Annie, Ryze, Nautilus, Blitzcrank, Amumu, Yorick, Volibear, Wukong, Riven.

Picking any of them and playing them decently usually means an instant victory at low Elo.
