I think Im going to buy Brand though, Im a far cry from good at it yet but Im still having more fun on him than I have on nearly any other character and Im very slowly picking everything up.

 

Or play Annie and beat the shit out of LB while surviving her burst.

It's actually mildly funny that Annie is bitched about for her bursting when she barely out-bursts Vlad in a 3s duration.

 

Eh, I was going with Ahri, but Ryze is super popular right now and he counters her pretty hard.

Voli is awesome, but I get ganked a lot early when I solotop, and voli hates that.

I refuse to give into the masses and play Ryze while hes so stupidly OP.

Ryze is forever OP. He's supposed to be the mage answer to AD Carries, and that's what he does.

Teemo was boss. Escaped Jon's team by sitting in a bush for invis. Comes out to kick ass vs Kog and Soraka. Proceeds to lead kennen and Irelia on a merry chase through shrooms.

 

Jon's team wins because enemy is retarded.

Akali with Gunblade, Lich Bane. and Zeal. Lee Sin stacking Giant Belt items. Blitz with zero defense. Twitch with no IE or any AD items outside a Doran's. Bossmo can't carry a fail team.

 

I dunno about Zeal, but isn't Lich Bane basically core for Akalis? Gunblade is pretty common too o,0 I actually saw that Lee Sin with those double Giant's Belt, kinda weird :/ Twitch got shut down too hard to have the gold to buy anthing BUT those dorans.

 

Lich is a 3rd item in Akali's build. No one rushes it beyond Sheen until DCap is done. Gunblade is a 3rd/4th item too because all it adds is large sustain with minor damage and bulk for its costs. If she needed sustain, there are runes and just revovler would have been enough.

Lee Sin rushed damage skills but bought HP items. He had negligible sustain at top because he wasn't leveling shield up. His damage was crap because he bought no real AD items outside Wriggles. He got nuked in fights because he had very little MRes and Armor.

Twitch was fucking retarded for rushing PD instead of damage. He already has crazy as fuck attack speed boosts on Q and W+Ulti allows him to stay in range longer to unload attacks anyways. Him having zero AD meant he was no real contribution in mid or late and had no way to quickly farm and catch up.

I thought the enemy Teemo was a boss, but the rest of their team was pretty much guaranteed to get stomped by you guys if you played at average levels, much less the better team work you guys showed at end-game.

I mean, besides their terrible item builds, skill orders, and over all champ choices, the only wards on the entire damn map were the ones Teemo dropped. Outside his wards and shrooms, their entire team was basically blind, deaf, and dumb to you guys after laning.

 

That's what hitting up Wolves, Wraiths, and Golems are for.

 

Eh, generally with Akali you like to nab a Revolver and keep that for a while. The 2 big ones I like to try and get done first are Deathcap and Rylai's. If the enemy AP has been dominating my team, I'll try to sneak in an Abyssal Scepter. Lich Bane and Gunblade feel more like luxuries for me, but the former is niiiiice when you can get it on.

 

It's really up to the build tbh. Deathcap I don't think should be rushed unless you are facerolling your lane. Otherwise, for a normal game, just getting Hextech>Rylais>Lichbane>Dcap/Gunblade

 

It doesn't matter if you're facerolling or not. You're an AP assassin who doesn't have any noticeable AP. It's like an LB not rushing a DCap.

 

...my last three non bot games have had both a feeder and a leaver on my team. I can't carry through that. Its impossible unless the other team is derp-faced retarded.

Don't know about you, but I've mainly been calling out how retarded the enemy teams I'm seeing are.

 

Lately, I've been running the hybrid build. More expensive, but also more powerful, so...
I aim to get:
Amp. Tome + Pots (Runes/Masteries get my AD bonus for start)
->Hextech Revolver
->Boots: Sorc. or Merc. Treads generally
->Occult
->Gunblade
->IE
->Lich Bane/Rabadon's(If I need the movespeed/mres more than the AP, or the other way around)
->the other of Lich Bane/Rabadon's
->if I can spare it, Boots -> PD

At a full buff-age(elixirs and baron), that puts me at 401 AD and 63% Crit with 250% crit damage and 15% lifesteal, about 500 AP with 20% spell vamp(before passive).
Her passive will give her 90% bonus of her 401 AD(sadly, crit damage doesn't factor) as free magic damage on every attack, and a free 54% spell vamp, bringing her total spell vamp to 74%(and if an ally has a WotA too, then....)

Sadly, the total build costs roughly 19k gold, so I've only finished it... about half of the time.

All said, I rather enjoy the 74% spell vamp and 90% of ~400 AD as magic damage, than my old AP build's ~35% spell vamp and ~125% of around 150 AD as magic damage. It's also harder to counter-build as it deals significant magic and physical damage(possible 1k damage crits at 1.5+aspd before armor)
