I really enjoyed the pilot for one reason - the emotion. Issacs is a damn fine actor, and completely sold me on his character and the situation.

My favourite scene was the one where he wakes up without a band on his wrist, and damn near loses his mind, unable to cope... really makes you wonder about his sanity, and how the reality only seems to assert itself once he's decided that it's real, and loses its cohesion when he questions it.

Agree with everything that Andro said, and I have to say that in one episode, this became my new favorite show to follow. I haven't felt this invested in a show since the first season of Smallville.

This. When his female psychiatrist makes him read the constitution and he realises the implications... good stuff. Tiny, tiny things make this show.

The only complaint I have it that his wife was a bit too young to have had such an old kid really and it took me out of it.

I haven't seen the pilot yet, so I need to ask - did they state their ages in it? Because otherwise the actress playing the wife is 37 years old. I don't think that makes her too young to possibly have 15 years old kid.

No, I don't think they explicitly gave us the ages. She just looked more like 30-33 to me.

How long would it be till we have a good screencap of Rex Britten (the son) with the "My father will hear about this" caption?

Just saw the latest episode. I am loving this show so far.

Lucius Malfoy acts pretty well for a pure-blood.

I am. There are still a few problems with plot (how they handled the Preggo! Girlfriend angle), but some other stuff's started clearing up (the conspiracy). It's not perfect, but it's very good stuff. :sherlock:

I'm still watching this every week. Awake is one of the few weekly shows on which I watch [Awake, Game of Thrones, Grimm, and Community].

I liked the preggo girlfriend subplot. It was an unexpected method of getting the red-timeline characters to stay in LA.

I was a bit disappointed that the conspiracy is about
    heroin.
I hope the writers can surprise us with something better.

I've been hearing rumors that due to decreases in viewers, it'll be canceled. Unfortunately, does not surprise. :(

^^ I have heard the same. People are starting petitions, but it is doubtful it will stay on.

It's possible ratings will go up soon, with the season coming to a close, but it seems like the inevitable that it will be canceled.

Sad, considering I'd been avidly following it since it began. :/

    So, yeah.

And I have a theory forming in my head. Tell me if it makes sense.

Britten fell down and spent 3-4 days in the Hannah reality. Whereas only a few minutes had passed in the Rex reality.

So my theory is that his sleeping and waking up timings are INDEPENDENT of when he decides to make a switch. He is unconscious for however long he would normally be, regardless of whether he is awake for a day or a year in the other reality.

Pretty much. I'm really hyped for the next episode.

I just thought the reason he wasn't going to Green World was because he'd fainted from the heights, fell down to the ground and was pretty much K'O'd.

No, he fainted because he bumped into the cop who (as we see later) tried to kill him. His subconscious was trying to remember where he saw him before but because the memory was associated to the accident it was straining his mind.

Until he was able to figure out who the guy was he was unable to switch realities.

This is of course, NOT an exact science but that is what I think happened.

Besides, the theory I said above is not for this episode specifically. In general I have been wondering about the progression of time. Because if it is the same in both realities, then either he is awake only 12 hour a day for each reality. Or he sleeps for 8 hours in one and 16 hours in the other. Which is unlikely since people would notice this.

    Also, another curious thing.

Say, he was at the carnival (with Rex) on Monday. He falls, then spends say 4 days in the other reality. So, now the other reality is at Friday, whereas he returns to Monday in the original (Rex's reality).

    Mindfuck?
