He already found a shiny. He has no reason to complain about anything - apart from scripted ones such as the Red Gyarados, I've only run into two. Trapinch and Budew.

 

It's not like he's gonna use that Ratata or something. I mean who uses Ratata aside from making it an HM slave.

Also, accidentally killing that shiny Hariyama was one of my biggest regrets, damn critical hit.
