It is surprising just how much they went for the over-powered-release-nerf-on-next-patch method for Darius. Well, hopefully nerf on next patch. Good marketing I suppose, even if it is rather dishonest.

 

I don't feel as if he's that OP, but I hate his goddamn true damage.

 

He's not. He gets punished by a shit-ton of champions pre-6 and only wins 6 if you're stupid enough to hang around trying to vamp back from low HP.

Most ranged characters also walk all over his ass since he can't close reliably on anything with over 600 range.

 

Yeah, like I said, I don't feel as if he's OP. But like Shaco, he is annoying as hell. Just to a lesser extent than Shaco, thankfully.

 

Less annoying than Shaco? Eh, I only really find Shaco mildly annoying because of his escape. Darius is actually a bother in a fight.

Then again, I've never really found Shaco to be as much of a nuisance as many people seem to.

 

Eh. I'd actually say that Jon's a little bit better than me. He's got better last hitting skills, map awareness and is the #1 Jungler for DLP.

But yeah. Totally raped him that game.

 

I swear Trooper's like the idiot savant for DLP when it comes to playing League. Give him any champion that statistically wins 45%+ of their games, and trooper loses. Give him something with under a 45% victory rate, and somehow he gets wins.


EDIT: It also doesn't help that EVERY GAME with Shezza Annie, someone managed to feed him. Even when it was a Kass, who can actually tank an Annie combo without going into "B or Die" mode.

 

Got my 3rd double quadra as vlad in as many day. XD. I feel proud.

 

Darius's ultimate is so stupidly fun, I love running into team fights and just bouncing around like a psychotic hellbunny on a meth binge.

Double IP weekend, whazzup?

 

Finally double IP. Its events like this that made LoL as strong as it is, and they definitely needed to do more of them. Gonna be playing a lot this weekend, both with the DLP 5v5 and solo queue.

Also Draven looks pretty fun. His q will either be really bad or really good depending on how the whole 'ricochet' mechanic works. I think his passive will make him bonkers in mid to late game where he'll start critting every hit. Combined with what looks like a pretty good steroid and a small cc and he could be really good. His ult doesn't look that great though. As always, the numbers will be more important than anything else but he looks fun either way.

 

Draven certainly seems interesting. We definitely need to do some DLP 5v5. I want to play with more DLP guys, I've only played with a few so far.

 

This. The only people I've actually played with, to my knowledge, are Evan, TWT, and Fenraellis.

Unofficial Draven Patch Notes

 

The comments make me laugh. Glad to see some Swain buffs, he is in a hard place because he is really tough, but gets outranged vey easily. I just played him top vs. A Riven not too long ago and I couldn't last hit because if I got close enough to auto attack Riven could unload on me. Even given than I could heal to full without much of a hassle from my R when mobs were nearby, it still sucks to be zoned out by a melee. I wish his birds prioritized champions too, because it sucks when you have a teamfight near a creep push and your ult spends the whole time clearing the wave.
