That's pretty fuckin' weird. If you had put it in the WTF image thread, I daresay it would have been the high point of the thread so far.

 

It's downright terrible. Why don't people do the honorable thing and lay their pet to rest? Cripes. I'd never do that or try to preserve one of my pets after they die in such a manner.

 

Because they don't think the cat gives a shit what happens after it's dead? If they were binding the cat's soul to power a motorbike or something I'd be right alongside you, but it's dead and gone, man. If cremating or burying your pet's corpse helps you deal with it's death then more power to you, but apparently turning kitty into a dubious work of art is what helps this guy come to terms with it.

What difference does it make coming from 9gag or Reddit?

 

Reddit doesn't slap a fucking advertisement on every picture uploaded to it.

 

Who the fuck cares? It's a cool picture, that's what matters. -_-

It's not like the advertisement is particularly obnoxious or in your face.

 

It's pretty annoying though when stuff is taken from around the web (reddit, 4chan, wherever) and then they slap their own watermark on it as if they created it. I get that the internet is all about copying shit and reposting it everywhere, but putting your watermark all over someone elses "work" (though I use that term loosely in this case) is pretty annoying - similar to Ebaum's World.

Plus, the 9gag community is just pretty fucking annoying in general. The in jokes that are fucking all over it are retarded, they don't come up with much original content in general, and the fucking rage comics (complete with 'le' every second word) are everywhere.
