In SC1 ZvZ play didn't see as much creep, but instead saw a lot of individual zerglings, and later a Muta fleet pretty much constantly running around the whole map to handle the scouting.

Obviously creep is easier and more important in SC2, but I've been seeing that type of play more and more in SC2 in ZvZ. And while doing that your scouts can double up as creep tumour killers with overseer support.

Well, it definitely won't be 3-0 now.

    EDIT:
Didn't creep do nothing (aside from let you place buildings) in BW?

That's 1 Alicia, 2 more to topple DRG. You can do it.

I'm fairly sure that Alicia has to win best of 9 to win.

Huh, maybe it's changed or I just remembered the wrong rules for a final, thought it would be a BO3 into a BO7 if Alicia won the first BO3, wasn't aware it was a BO9(7?). Usually is a BO3 at MLG's events.

    Either way, rooting for Alicia.

Bo5 to Bo9 for this final.

They changed the format a bit a few MLGs back, and the extended series rule is really weird given Alicia and DongRaeGu never played each other.

It gets even weirder when you consider that the only reason Alicia's in the Loser's Bracket to begin with is seeding, so giving DongRaeGu (who had the same score in his pool) an advantage feels really unfair.

I knew about the whole LB affair having basically one series to win to make it level footing (including extended series) but I must've missed the MLG where they changed the format & then not even noticed when I watched the next one... Typical.

    Lol at the Spades BM.

Guys, it isn't extended series. Its the way ANY double elimination tournament works.

Well, it wasn't a horrible finals. Sad both MKP and Stephano went out before the finals. :(

Alicia played really well and had an excellent run, he just couldn't take it to DongRaeGu (and to be honest, who the hell really can? It's DongRaeGu.)
