If something went wrong and he was hit, the train would be destroyed by the colision with his massive balls of steel. I mean, damn, imagine having to do that.

 

The fact that we don't see the whole train pass above him makes me think that he may got hit a moment later and didn't survive it. But I hope he succeeded.

 

I'm pretty sure i've seen gifs a lot longer than that...

 

The upper limit of gif sizes and reasonable gif sizes are quite different.

Pretty sure the creator just didn't want us to watch five minutes of a guy lying down, even if there was a train above him.

 

As anyone that's gotten stuck at a railroad crossing would know, that'd be a fucking long gif.

Just an fyi, there is no upper limit to gif file sizes other than whatever physical limit there is to regular file sizes. There might be differences in browser cache that limit gif file size for display purposes but that's still a pretty large number.
