Oh dear lord. A version of the Hulk with magical powers?

Whelp, General Ross just signed his death warrant. Making the Hulk was one thing, but trying to add magical steroids to it is just asking for a personal visit from Harry. Which is inevitable once Stark (also inevitably) discovers what they're up to.

Wait...does this mean Harry gets a clone? A baby clone or an evil clone?

Harry's strength is from his knowledge. A clone would be Harry Potter, at 11, with a bad temper.

Inb4 a buffalo lands on his chest.

But a Hulk with accidental magic. With a temper that high, only god knows what'll happen.

Maybe shit will turn into cotton candy, tanks firing at it will melt, helicopters loading missiles into it become toys. Or everything just explodes.

Its a disaster waiting to happen.

And to top it off, if Ross does clone it, that means Harry has to deal with a baby wizard monstrosity on a rampage...and he might be forced to kill it. If that doesn't put him in one helluva mood to destroy the people responsible, I don't know what will.

A disaster, but definitely one that Harry can handle. Accidental magic, as we can see from canon, is no match whatsoever for real magic.

Loved the last chapter. I was wary earlier, fearing that you would get trapped by the events of canon, instead of reducing them to mere...guidelines. Here you have shown that Harry's actions will have far reaching consequences, changing more than just how friendly everyone is.

    Keep up the great work!

I love the way you wrote the Asgardians, I could clearly see the characters with only the dialogue. That takes talent.

A real assurance was the melding of canons stories, consequently creating your own path. That put to rest my major fear about your fic.

The Battle Scene (note the capital letters) was incredible, you managed to even the field between them. Even when Harry ended it, you could feel the weariness that overtook him. That made my day.

The only real thing that stood out in a bad way for me was when Harry talked to Fury, in the end, he really didn't seem to be that tired.

    Good work, bro.

I actually didn't mind that Harry wasn't absolutely exhausted in the fight. I think that the only really magically brutal thing that he has done was the fire from the Elder Wand, and that's the Elder Wand, and therefore should be easier.

Though he is injured, so he should be exhausted from that.

Quick question. Since Tony used a portkey to get back to the United States after dealing with the terrorists in the middle east village, and therefore the U.S. military did not have a chance to attack him on the way back, does that mean Rhodey and the military are unaware that Tony is actually Iron Man right now in the story?

Yeah, no mutants. But I thought it was an entertaining opportunity to reference them, and a potential alternate origin, even if I'm not going into that.

Indeed - and given that 'Iron Man' was just involved in a bit of a scuffle with the army right in LA, he might have to consider holding off on the press conference for a bit.

Good chapter, but there were plenty of typs and even a few missing words. Might want to go over it a again.

Oh man, Spiderman. Hopefully this'll be good. My only advice is that you follow the comics, not movies or shows of any kind. On the other hand, the comic plots finish, and people never die. Eh, do whatever you think is best, it'll work out, I'm sure.

What would a petrificus totalus have done to Stane in his suit or the Hulk? As far as I can think, it would get around the magical resistance that the Hulk and the suit have as it binds the arms and legs together rather than influence the body itself.

If you want to say they could overpower the jinx, I would point out that Harry has the Elder wand which, in its masters hand should grant sufficient power.

A sufficiently powerful one might've worked on the suit, but by the time he got to pulling Elder Wand spells, the Deprimo worked as well. (Plus I got to use some more obscure stuff. :p)

That's true, but I was thinking in terms of Harry's original mission to capture Stane. Or, if he wanted to capture the Hulk without damaging anything around. Seems like a quick fix that you could consider using when Harry does not want to have bangs and flashes drawing attention to his presence.

How are you going to measure actual "magical power". From what I gathered in your story, spells makes Harry tired because of the mental focus it takes. Some authors usually go that way or the basic, fanon if I'm not wrong, "well of power"/"magical core". Or are you going a total new way?

OR I'm nosy, and you are going to delve deeper in future chapters...which, come to think about it, you were going to do just that in Asgard, I believe it was said.

Well, I figured that a spell to cut hair would need a lot less concentration or care than severing huge chunks of metal, for one. I'm not doing the whole magical core fanon malarkey, at all. Though the Elder Wand makes the same spell more powerful than it would've been with a normal wand, the one that Harry picked up at Ollivander's would probably better for finnicky stuff. I mean, the Elder Wand is pretty much made for kicking ass and not much else.

Asgard's getting involved; Harry's presence and activities have more to do with it than the plot of Thor at the moment, with Heimdall, being who he is, noticing Harry's travelling from place to place with a method decidedly similar to the Bifrost used to cross from world to world through Yggdrasil.

    Cheers. :)

Err, no. The Elder Wand is the most powerful wand in existence, which means that every spell will be better than with a normal wand. If Harry decided to charm his dishes to clean themselves with the Elder Wand, he'd get the cleanest damn dishes magic has ever produced.

The Elder Wand is not just for battle, offensive or defensive spells, it does everything better. Like repair Harry's irepairable wand, for example.

Yeah, but cleaning dishes with the Elder Wand is so..unbecoming. It should be saved for ass-kicking ocassions and breaking magical laws.

Or when our attemps at cooking go so awry that even normal magic can't do anything to salvage the situation.

Edit: @Infidel: A sound theory, but only a theory. We have no confirmation as to what exactly the EW does best, only that it's really, really awesome.
So even if you're right, and it performs it's best on offensive or defensive magic, it's Cleaning Charm is still loads better than a Cleaning Charm with any other wand.

While I do agree that the Elder wand does everything better than a normal one, I disagree with the first part of your statement.

    From Harry Potter wiki:
While you could argue that the Elder wand defeats all other wands just by being better than them all, I think it was made to defeat others in battle and hence it would be best for offensive and defensive purposes.

So if you used the same spell in a fight would the EW perform it better than if cast for non-combat usage?

    EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION
Like the often used "but spells aren't dark or light themselves - I can kill someone by levitating them". If I transfigured my hand into a hammer so I could put up furniture, would it be harder than transfiguring my hand into a hammer so I beat the living daylights out of someone?
