Hello, all! I had been looking around this forum for quite a bit, but recently read a rather good fanfiction and wanting to know if anyone had any recommendations similar to the idea. Despite the subject-title here, the fic I had read took a quite different route and it was refreshing.

So my question is, does anyone have any recommendations similar to the fic Guardian by Logicalmagic on FF? (link here)

It was different, with instead of Harry taking charge, but Sirius being the one to guide him through it. I admit the grammar wasn't the best nor was the sentence structure, but the plot and how things went about was magnificent (to me in any case.) I was disappointed to see that it hadn't been updated for years (ugh, usually I look but not sure what was going on this time.)

 

I'm confused... do you want takecharge!Harry or takecharge!Sirius?

If it's the former, then you might as well just randomly click links in the Library. A large portion of the fics we have here involve Harry kicking ass and taking names.

 

Oh, sorry! I meant similar takecharge!Sirius, or a better adult-figure such as Remus perhaps. Sorry for not being more clear.

 

Then why is the thread title Take Charge!Harry...?

Have you read A Black Comedy? More of a partnership than Sirius leading everything, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

Edit: Or perhaps Gemino - Alastor Moody taking charge of fucking up every Death Eater he can get his hands on?

The thread title, mostly because though Sirius is directing him, Harry is the one making the changes (typo) and everything, haha. Sirius just providing the training, if anything.

Agreeably, some of the story was a little odd! I admit that, and can't deny it.

I dunno whether it counts or not, but Learning to Breathe features a soldier!Harry, who works under Sirius.

Doesn't look like it will ever completely finish, it features an incredibly-super!Harry, and is set entirely after Voldemort has been killed for good, so YMMV.

It's in the recycling bin here, but very few actual reviews in the thread.
