Huh, it seems after reading the last few chapters I have lost interest in Naruto. Fanfiction was the only reason I kept on reading it this long anyway but I've come to realise that Naruto does actually just suck.

 

Sad.

It isn't the "eyes" that fuse so much as the chakra itself inherent in the eye.

 

This isn't exactly breaking news but I haven't been able to find a Naruto Anime/Movie thread or any mention of it, so I'm posting it here.

The Sixth Naruto Shippuden Movie has been announced. It's written and planned by Kishimoto, not some other schlub.

Inside the spoiler tags is a fair amount of information, mostly gleaned from fan websites about things Kishimoto himself has drawn/revealed/said, and it'll reveal the surprise of some of the movie if you read it, but what I've seen so far is promising and none of the finer plot points have been revealed, so far as I know.

Supposedly it's an AU. Naruto and Sakura get sent to another reality. One where his parents are alive and all his friend's personalities have been flipped or twisted.

Ino is shy, Shika is energetic and silly, Sasuke is girl-hunting in Konoha pretty seriously, and seems friendly, Hinata is aggressive and confident (though she still loves Naruto). Tsunade is a flat chested nerd, and Shizune stole her tits (tonton is a douche). Chouji is on a Diet, Kakashi and Gai have switched personality types, Sai seems outgoing and friendly, and Neji is a total pervert.

It seems all the members of Akatsuki have some role or another to play, and the Movie takes place during the 4th Ninja War.

Here is a link to three of the released trailers, I found a couple others but CBA to track them all down again and link them. There is a fair amount of reused footage, but the differences between each are significant enough to remain interesting.

The Sasuke is this movie sounds awesome, I can't wait for it.

 

Orochimaru is a hard dude to kill.

As for the EMS. I don't think the EMS actually requires a sibling's eyes so much as someone that's closely related. It doesn't really seem like they fuse from how they've been talking about it. I think the merger comes from Sasuke's blood and chakra flowing through the eyes now.

 

God damn.

Was just doing some rereading and it's hard to reconcile how good this manga was during the Pain invasion with how bad it is now.

I miss Nagato.

 

Oddly enough, I remember an interesting crossover in which he was to play a prominent role... Pity that story wasn't continued.

I laugh at how the same people post in here every few months saying how shit this manga is and how they aren't going to read it anymore. Yet you give it a few chapters and they are back having read it saying how awesome something was and then disappear for a while and whinge again.

Face it niggers, you like it, have always liked it and just hate the fact that Naruto has a different fanbase that isn't the same crowd as DLP. Go cry elsewhere how unfair it is about Sasuke having the easy road and cheap power ups, it's been that way the entire manga, you think it's going to ever change? That's the whole point, watching Naruto not trying to catch up would be boring, having no challenges means no opportunities for conflict that's actually interesting.

 

Lol, I really am just sticking with it to see how it ends at this point. I doubt Naruto would even rank in my top 15 favorite manga now, and I only regret that I took so long to broaden my horizons and discover how many better series there are out there.

It is shit, but I've spent so long following it now that I feel compelled to see it through to the end anyway.

Why is it released today and not tomorrow?

Also for the chapter, it complicates things to the point where a rumored third part becomes possible. But I'd like the manga to finally focus on Naruto. Enough with Sasuke already.

 

That easy to bring back Orochimaru huh?

Taking a huge leap here, but how awesome would it be if someone could take the little bit of Minato's chakra left on Naruto's seal and do the same?

 

It wouldn't be awesome at all, it sure as hell isn't awesome now nor will it ever be. Orochimaru helping Sasuke was such a huge stretch you have to wonder what the fuck Kishi was thinking. I was expecting shit and somehow got worse shit, that is first for me.

Also, someone should show Rowling this. Orochimaru is such an unrepentant copy cat of Voldemort it is silly, he now has Horcruxes in the form of seals.
