Why the hell did he go for the mask instead of going for the organs? He had the shot, Tobi couldn't dodge. After all, they could always take the mask off after KOing/killing him and satisfy their curiosity.

Now if the Rasengan blows Tobi's face and head into kingdom come, that makes some sense given the attack's power. But I'm fairly certain that isn't how this will end.

A Rasengan to the face is far deadlier. Especially in Tobi's case.

how much chakra do you think tobi has?

i am imagining that his phasing ability is a partial kamui as we have never seen him use the MS before this chapter, so it might take less chakra than the real deal.

but other than that he still has been using pretty costly tequniques i imagine. that OP uchiha barrier for example that withstands even the power of the hachibi can´t be cheap chakra wise.

and controlling the bijuu will have taken it´s toll in chakra as well, or do you imagine that that would take a different currency than chakra?

i have the feeling that chakra exhaustion is something only the protagonists have to worry about in this series.

I wish I could slap you. Both for this.....

    And for this.

I don't know about you, but around here we respect the fucking English language. I honestly don't know how you've gone this long without someone chewing you out about it.

It's annoying as shit when you don't capitalize.

Now, we're pretty sure that English isn't Luckylee's first language, so he's got a bit of an out for his own issues with the English language. But from your sentence structure, word choice and general lack of any other glaring error besides Capitalization, it's obvious your grasp of said language isn't flawed in that fashion.

    So fucking capitalize.

On Topic: Sasuke IS a villain. He's gone batshit crazy. He wants to destroy the place that Itachi sacrificed EVERYTHING to protect because they did questionable things. He has repeatedly shown his willingness to sacrifice people trying to HELP him out of PURE disregard for their life in comparison to his goals, so he has no loyalty what so fucking ever to anyone but himself and his selfish, pain-fueled goals. His disregard for anything even resembling common decency, loyalty, or respect for others in the slightest fashion has painted him not just as a bastard, but as a vicious, unrelenting prick with very little resembling any fashion of Morals.

He's. Fucking. Evil. Oh, sure, much of this manga is centered around the quest to redeem Sasuke, but honestly the only way I can think of Sasuke redeeming himself is through heroic sacrifice or some creative asspull that we hope Kishimoto can pull off.

But that douchenugget is a villain, through and through.

He isn´t a villain in terms of the manga.

His allegiance might have been bad for quite a while but he has never stopped being one of the "protagonists" in that sense.

We had quite the thorough discussion about his character a few pages back in this thread already.

It doesn´t matter wether or not you or I like him or how much we try to apply basic logic to his character.

He has always been the second main character and will most likely remain so until the end of the series.

Maybe he will even be the final antagonist, who knows. My argument remains. He is not one of the "bad guys".
We are supposed to root for him.

But this was originally an argument about chakra exhaustion.

Chakra exhaustion hasn't really mattered to anyone apart from Kakashi recently, and even though we don't know Tobi's age we can assume he has been around for a while and has built up his chakra reserves accordingly. It would be pretty lame if his all his plans went to shit because of chakra exhaustion.

You are the one who started this stuff about whether Sasuke is a villain or not:facepalm

And on that topic while he may have originally been a protagonist he is now an antagonist who wants to kill Naruto and destroy Konoha, hence a Villain. It doesn't matter if he wasn't originally a villain, the fact of the matter is that he is a villain now.

Rasengan to the face should make mince meat out of his head. But of course that would be too easy. Bah, dramatics.

He can probably deflect or absorb it with the Rinnegan.

He hasn't shown that capability yet. One can assume that since he is new to the Rinnegan, he's probably rather terrible with it, and has some other use for it besides the extreme battle utility it can bestow.

I still think it's (some form of) Obito, Howdy's rather valid arguments or not. It just feels like something Kishimoto would do, to me.

    Especially with Kakashi's comments.

What brilliant foreshadowing shown by Kishimoto there.

Crazy idea that would explain everything: Tobi is a time-traveling or alternate-universe Kakashi. They both have Obito's eye instead of their right eye, Tobi knows a lot of things about Kakashi, and ... that's about all I got.

So, the black hair, different bodily build and the total disregard for life would be explained through the fact that he's also a... body snatching evil version of kakashi?

    Sooo... time traveling Kakashi-maru?

Why is it that every time my brain takes an idea from one of these threads and runs with it, it ends up sounding like bad fanfiction?

...I dunno about everyone else, but I laughed when Tobi thought 'shit' right before getting plowed in the face with a Rasengan. Hah hah hah.

    GOD FUCKING DAMMIT!

Or not. This just confirms that it's Obito's body which was already quite likely.
