Stop being out of position? Karma is pretty squishy and gives a lot of sustain do your ADC, and your harass can hurt. Given the option, a poor engage that deprives the enemy team of free shields is better than a better one where I have to crawl through the front lines and take out the ADC with those shields up.

 

I was playing a aram last night, where every time we had a fight Nocturne would ulti in to me (as Veigar) and kill me while I ran away and the rest of my team ignored him D:

So now I played ad carry again and barely scraped by. My score was something like 8/6/12. The match was won by our mid, Diana, who was dominating.

Even though my score was loads worse than the score of my earlie Ezreal match, I got 21 elo out of this game (as opposed to the 9 of the other match).

Me is confused.

 

The amount of elo you get is affected by the level of the players you're matched against. If they're higher rated than you are, you get more Elo, if they're lower rated, you get less. How much depends on the size of the difference.

That's the very basics of it.

Performance in the game has little to nothing to do with the amount of elo your receive.

 

So, we all knew it was coming. Diana is getting nerfed.
Graves and Corki are also getting nerfed, while Ezreal is getting buffed.

Also, they buffed Evelyn. Again.

Corki changes make me sad, but at least they didn't touch his damage. That ammo change is going to hurt though, I already run out of ammo at the worst possible moments.

 

I don't get the ADC nerfs/buffs at all (outside Corki's valkryie and Ezreal's W). Why did Graves even need an AS nerf? He was slow as shit already but maybe that's just me. THe Ezreal W had me thinking it was a bug as I'd started noticing it a lot more recently, though I'm fine with the buff to Q, outside early game but I guess we'll see how it goes.

Not sure about the change to Abby Scepter either, I never checked the range on it, the nerf seems fair but... I still don't think the change will have that much of an impact.

 

Holy trinity of AD down to a Holy Singularity I guess. Ez buffs... Delicious. Eve buffs... Lol. Maybe that matters at competitive levels, but no matter how good Eve is (as long as she isn't OP) people will consider her a troll pick.

I'm slowly but surely escaping elo-hell, at least the darkets pits of it. I've been slowly rising in elo for the last two weeks, but for two days now I'm stuck a few points below 1200. Every time I only need 1 win to reach 1200, something happens. Someone is trolling, someone dc's, etc.
Hopefully today or tomorrow I'll exceed it.

 

1200 is still terrible trolling and leavers all the time, at least on EU North East...

 

I know, which is why it's so hard to rise in Elo.

 

Duo queueing with anyone (even randoms from last game you won) increases your chance of winning exponentially. When I have casual access to the internet again I'll check my elo and see if we are near each other. Which region are you?

If you want to check out some of my older games, I record all my games on twitch. The username should be Wildfeather there if you search it. Using the twitch website from my phone is a horrible thing if you don't want use to watch a stream.

 

Sadly, I‘m on EU East. I think only me and HoS are on that server.
And yes, I have been duo qeueing with a decent player to raise my elo.

Edit: Seems like I was whining for nothing. Just got 1210 elo last match.

 

I'm on the east too. Seriously considering migrating to the west though, especially since I get to move for free...

 

I give up on ranked now. Just lost 100 elo, and the last game Taric didn't ward, and built Athene and phage bot.
