The only lost fics that would be of any interest would be the Master Eldryn fics (besides Harry Potter and the White Owl, and Harry Potter and the Dragon's Tear).

 

Does anyone have any of those fics?

That's not spoiling anyone, it''s the ony one that doesn't require any effort to find.

It's really awful. Trying to read it again pretty much wipes away any of the Master Eldryn mystique there might've been if none of his stuff was on the Interwebz.

I'm going to guess the rest weren't that much better even if he improved after Dragon's Tear, and given how nearly all former classics have aged abominably, it's likely that his later stories would be of mediocre quality, at best.

Maybe the best method of discovering the well-purged fics would be if popular authors asked readers in author's notes for copies of these lost fics, at the end of an update.

You wouldn't happen to have Case13/Fosfor's Mirage, would you? I believe it's a story about a genjutsu-using Naruto. It was recc'ed on DLP four years ago, but has since disappeared from the internet.

And I wouldn't mind reading his Chaos Soldier and the fic where he meets Tsunade post-Wave mission again either.

I'd say that The Phoenix and the Serpent has aged pretty well.

The author told me in a PM about 4 months ago that it's not abandoned, but I wish he'd hurry up and get back to it.

Best news ever, that fic is beyond amazing.

 

So I'm wondering if anyone still has a copy of Zimo's first version of "What Became of the Likely Lads". After reading her rewrite, and having to put up with that thoroughly unlikable main character, I'm feeling a desire to go back to when her story had more crack and fun personalities.

 

Funnily enough, yes I do. That's why I asked earlier if this was thread was for HP specifically. Unfortunately, I don't think I have the last two or three chapters.

It exceeds the hell out of the file size limit, though, so I have no idea how to attach it to this post.

If anyone has any workarounds let me know, otherwise I guess just shoot me a PM with an email and I'll send it your way when I get a chance.
